Stepped in a stupid hole, messed my ankle up, I felt and heard a pop. They did xrays and it isn't broken but the Dr dr thinks I may have tore some ligaments or tendons. I have to go to an ortho next week. My ankle is about triple the normal size. They put me in a splint cast til I can get into a specialist.

omg. LOL that's HORRIBLE , (but at least it wasnt a CAR Accident!) but omg. what with the all the kids, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DO IT!? I really REALLY hope some one is coming in to help you, and the blasted kids DO MORE. HUGS Baby!! :( thank goodness it's not broken. at least there's that. but MAN. What A Hassle with every thing else going on. :( i swear.

Ouch! Glad that nothing it badly broken, like the bone. Bad sprains like that will take awhile to heal. I've done that twice already. One on my right ankle, like a 3 months before I got married and then again on my left. It's painful, so lots of elevation and ice.

ouch . youre going to have problems with both your feet/ankles in bad weather, when you get OLD LIKE ME.

heh. i just remembered. that happened to me. it was when the hub was out of state working. i went outside to take care of the dogs and fell. i remember laying there in the dirt crying, because (this was before cell phones) there was no one that i could call to help me. the only thing that made me get the fuck up off the ground and hop my way into the house, was because i had a baby, plus my son, counting on me, and there was no one else.

i really REALLY hope you have help, beautiful . I have a feeling you dont. :( and you DO NOT NEED THIS STRESS added on to every thing else. :(

yeah i fell to the ground and was screaming bloody murder. Raydon saw me fall from inside and he called his dad and came outside freaking out. hugs thanks yall. It's hurting so bad and all the Dr would prescribe is naproxen... tomorrow can't come fast enough, I need to get into an ortho soon.

Get those feet comfy foot wear! You also don't want heel spurs because the pain will be in the heels and hurt anytime you put the foot down. I had them a lot while working at Home Depot (cashier), so I got double insoles haha. It helped that's for sure.

It's painful and I was doing the same both times. Crying and yelling because I couldn't take it. The first time a lady was nice enough to take me and the dog (I was walking her) back to the house. The second time I had to fend for myself. Get some crutches also, those are a lifesaver. I have two sets here lol.

ive been wearing my new-ish walking shoes, but it obv doesnt have enough support bc they are killing me. brians gonna buy me new shoes soon, when he just got these on my bday in march they just arent soft enough to stand on all day and my feet/back are suffering!!!!! how are you ? ps im drunk and passing out asap

It seems they don't have shoes out there that support standing up for long periods of time. I know my dad had bought some called zcoil. They do look a bit funny, but he said that his feet have never felt better and no pain while standing. I don't know maybe ones to look into.

Yup! I know this and sometimes I feel it or my ankle will get tight for no reason. I also hurt my elbow 3 years ago and it hurts sometimes in cold weather.

i HATE crutches. I'm 5'10" and the crutches I have go to exactly that height, which for some reason isn't quite high enough. I've already fallen twice today because of the crutches and lack of space in my house. I wish I wasn't so clumsy.

I didn't know crutches only went up to that height, that sucks. I'm just as clumsy lol. Anytime I tell my husband that I'm taking the dog for a walk, he'll kid me about falling down and hurting myself.
