I couldn't figure out your HA and thought the sword or metal was on the back, I just saw it on the stomach area. I thought you were going to sacrifice the pig, but apparently the pig wanted to do that haha1

well, , the roasting turned out pretty perfect. all the veggies seems to come out perfect. grin. but the chicken. ha. truth. i hardly taste the 'seasoning' on it, but i didn't knock enough of the corn starch off of them, and they look a little white. hahahaaa AND i they were cooked before the veggies, because the bottoms are a little "cajun" style. lol but everything seems to taste ok. i also had a box of Gemli (or something like that. basically, it's a "french style" beans and pasta. truth, not sure if it's cause the box is about 30 years old, or what, but i don't think it taste so good.

but i think i'm going to go and get a bowl of tuna, avocado, and veggies, to eat. i'm starving. LOL

Sounds interesting, at least you ate it and decided to probably not do that again :P I do like the sound of what you're going to eat. Eric is making some breakfast tacos. He has ground beef, eggs, peppers, onions, and spices. It'll probably be a little too spicy for me, but it's how he does it haha

well, since i know the man isn't going to eat any of it, i made a bowl of the chicken, asparagus, carrots, sweet pota. and CELERY! hahahah YES! i even roasted the celery!!

well. the man i brought me home a bunch of celery TWICE this week. and i'm thinking "what the hell am i going to make" so i just roasted a bunch of it, and i'll eat it with my tuna and avocados. (the roasting took away the "crunch")

Surprising enough, it wasn't spicy at all this time. We have some leftovers, so we'll put it with something later on.

I haven't though of roasting celery. How do you roast celery?

heh. i've never heard/seen it either, , and i just threw it on the same pan i had everything else (do it in "4ths" 1 quarter had cut up sweet potatoes, another corner had asparagus /that i had in alumin. foil and roasted covered/ another corner held carrots, etc)

any way. i cut up some the celery into "large bite size" pieces and added it to the cookie sheet. just drizzled evoo (olive oil) on everything. usually they add salt and pepper, but since i have bad blood pressure, i didn't do that, and truth, because i'll share the carrots and sweet pota. with the dog, i didn't use the pepper either. :D

i like it, because i can just dump some in chicken stock (that i take out of the freezer) with rice and i have a "meal" or i can throw some on/in my tuna. all kinds of things i can do with it.

most times, i just take a stalk of celery and stuff it with tuna, and eat it that way, but i had TWO Large bunches. lol. i needed to do something else.

i'm going to use 'em like I would roasted peppers, etc. Just add them to whatever i've already got cooked.

I don't wanna go anywhere today. Eric's step cousin, I guess that's what she would be, is getting married today in Vegas and the family is going to be live streaming it online. I don't really wanna go, but at least there will be drinks there. It'll be more bearable then.

and no. i only had the veggies in oven, about 30 minutes. thank goodness the man came in the house. i was burning up the chicken. lol the celery still has a teeny crunch to it. not so much crunch as still firm. the carrots probably could have gone another 10 minutes, but they're still good (and freya loves them) and the sweet potatoes were perfect. :D

i do that with garlic also. i roast the bulbs in the oven, then squeeze out the garlic into a small bowl ihave that has a lid. that way i can scoop some out, for whatever i need (sauce, tuna, whatever)

i'm going to ask the hub to stop getting asparagus though. just haven't been tasting them. (meaning, my taste buds aren't happy with them) grin.

i wish he had gotten me some zucchini. and can't wait till later in summer, for some yellow squash! :( and he didn't get me tomatoes either. man LOVE ME SOME ROASTED TOMATOES!

that's another one that's good to do, and then just "add" to other things. (grin. usually left overs)

I just found the cheapest dry shampoo and am trying it out. It's the spray form from walmart lol. It's alright and it seems to work :P
