That's a great free shop catch! My computer is super slow. Many times I "grabbed" something and was told it was sold out. Why did they tell me that it was a nightmare potion? Couldn't it just say "sold out"??? Hehehe I would LOVE some time alone with my husband, so I can relate! My daughter in law is due this week, so I am going to their apartment for the Sabbath, to stay with their older child if they need to go to the hospital. My husband will stay home though. : P

You all just stay safe. It's like here: it's not as bad as it seems from far away. The opposite of the song "from a distance"... Never mind. I don't know what I am talking about! I have gotten a lot of things I didn't have from the free shop. Here, have some luck... ;)

but then - my heart still beats faster if I see him and most if the time he is still all I want and I feel so blessed that I have found him and he decided to give me the chance he has

he is the person with the most loving heart and such a warmthin his personality. He always passes on everything for the kids and hegoes to great lenght to do all he can (and more) for them.

He also is so empathic.

PLUS he looks a lot like Wesley - so he is also cute XD

today one of my old ladies got mad because I was standing on a ladder getting some decoration down and she sort of smashed the ladder out from under my feet saying "you are nasty" - yeah I know someone who is nasty and it is not me I can be nasty but I try hard not to be

now every bone in my body aches...

That's awful! You fell? Did you check out for broken bones? :/

I got empties some times. Today I must have had some of your karma: a lot of swampie elixirs. ;)

I have nothing broken the ladder was not that high.

She's not a nice old grandma I usually can work with her but she always wants attention immediatly.

So I think I am to blame, since I know that and she has dementia and can not understand it.

I don't think she intend to hurt me. She was just mad I did not turn and pay attention

I just inderstand that people with dementia can get a bit... disorientated.

Another of my Ladies always hits and kicks the nurses if they try to put shoes on her.

It's easy, there's a german song for kids about ewaring shoes and if you sing that, she let's you put on the shoes happily and does not kick

I work with music a lot and that always helps.

And I never take things personal, since 95% of my senior citizens have demntia and well... they usually do not know how to pronounce and show things.

you are a good person! It takes someone special to understand and not get frustrated when working with elderly people. I'm glad they have you.

Your so sweet and understanding the needs of your patients. Many dont understand or dont have the patience to figure out each ones needs. My sister did the same job, and had one gentleman that hd bathroom accidents and would be embarrassed. My sister would say, to him you must of went fishing again and forgot one fish had got into your pants and made a mess.

You are so thoughtful and caring with your elderly patients ~ dementia is very cruel and often steals away a person's true identity.

I wish that more research were being done to address the issues of dementia and Alzheimer's. The Baby Boom generation will all be joining the elderly ranks soon and that will put a lot of pressure on the medical system and caregiver residences.
