Congratulations!! Meriplop has won the Pet Spotlight! Eeeeeee my pet won! This made me so happy after a kind of awful day of headache.
we are mostly okay. We got most of the paperwork and financial stuff figured, so that's good. Dmy cried a bit yesterday when we gave her husband the coat my dad wore all the time and I teared up too. It will be a long process of grieving.
Yes it is a long process. I remember that after a while, then good memories helped ease the pain of loss.
Congrats on your pet winning :)

Congrats on Meriplop winning the pet spotlight, she is absolutely adorable.
Glad to hear that you are doing basically OK, just dealing with the fabric of life. Parental loss is one of the hardest things to accept, I lost my mother at 15 and my father at 45 after my placing him in a doctor recommended nursing home for 3 years.
Congrats on the pet profile win! woot! Loved reading it.
Many continuing hugs to you and dmy. My father's winter jacket spends the cooler months still hanging on the back of our kitchen chair where he used to put it. We all will toss it on if we need to go outside (like to get the mail). I think he would have been surprised we were still using it. I find myself touching it when I walk by sometimes.

Morning to everyone. Not much new in my life at this point.
Still doc appointments and such.
Hope all are doing better and staying safe

Just glad you're staying well. Gets harder to greet the day sometimes.
Hi everyone. Just so busy in RL that I just pop in to do dailies and don't talk.
Hope all are well and staying safe. Don't believe everything you hear on the news.

Agreed, Trump news is fake news.
Mom had a heart attack 6/15/2020. She's still in the hospital, very weak and can't breathe right. Tests showed she had had several others over time. She has hardening of the arteries, but apparently no blockages. So that is good. But they don't know why she had the heart attack and are trying to find the source so they can treat it. Very scary and upsetting. I love her more than I can say.
Maybe it was weight? A family member of mine had to stay in the hospital for a few days because doctors found fluid around her lungs. Turns out she could have avoided the stay if she had exercised more.
Not trying to offend, just offering my own experience.

It might be a factor, just causing ill health in general, but she has no fluid build up. I think that's congested heart failure, and that's not what she has. I don't know the actual kind, but I need to find out.
daughterhugs Glad she has no blockages and I hope they find out what the cause is and they can treat her so she can be home soon. ❤

Thanks for asking. Hi all. Mom was sent home, she feels much better. They still don't really know why she had a heart attack. But she's got a bunch of new meds to take and a nurse and a couple other people will be coming by to take care of her. My daughter was with her when she finally got a room, but they wouldn't let her in the hospital before that because of the covid. Then a nurse came up positive for it. My mother has no symptoms thank goodness, but my daughter is now in the hospital with covid! My father and my brother are sick. Mike was tested and he came up negative. Dad is to be tested today, hopefully negative too. Rox, my son Cory, my grandkids, and I have no symptoms. Oh and my water heater has to be replaced as of yesterday. I have to find a program or something to help pay for that. Until then, because the hot water valve or whatever is also broken, we are without water... I am a little overwhelmed.
