Evenin' all

Home safe and sound. Was a very long day. Plumber was late so we got a later start than we wanted. Truck drivers seemed extra reckless. Car drivers were mostly just their normal annoying selves (pet peeve - drivers hanging in the passing lane without passing - grrr). Otherwise drive was fine but tiring. Did some grocery shopping today but still tired. Mom took a fall in the garage when we got home. She seems okay. Nothing broken. But I am sure she's going to be very sore and likely bruised for awhile. Not unpacked yet. Likely get to that tomorrow. Need more rest before tackling that. And laundry. Blah. lol

Glad you are home but awful about your mom. Very happy it wasn't any worse. Your HA is very Autumn! Love it. Love your HA!

Laundry started but I lounged in bed a very long time this morning so a late start to my day. I think I needed it since I wasn't up all that late last night. Mom is sore but moving around okay. I think tomorrow will be worse for her as two days later, at least for me, always seems the worst for things like that. Will start unpacking after lunch (still having my morning coffee since I was so late) and then I need to start tackling my redone computer and figuring out Win10 and getting my stuff back on it.

Thank you! I needed something Autumnal since the weather surely isn't. Going to be in the 80s and humid for the foreseeable future. So not October weather. I fear a crash into Winter and little to no Autumn. Hope not though, I love Autumn.

glad your Mom didn't break anything when falling. That is scary. Also glad you made it home safe.

Very sorry to hear about your mother's fall, glad to hear that it's not worse than bumps and bruises. Falls can be plenty scary for older folks.

Waiting on the repair man for my internet and phone service. I'll use them while it stays on. lol
Hubby's skin cancer was baso so that means no chemo. Thank the Lord for that. He does have to have it completely removed so this will be done on the 16th of this month.

Sorry for your hubby, hope this is the last time.

Brian got surgery on Tuesday and he still is staying at the hospital. Hopefully tomorrow they will release him so he doesn't text and call me every morning asking me to come over. Then I have to wake up too early (at least by my standards) and go over. Where I spend the day praying to the powers that be that he won't need to pee while I'm there. Because then I end up having to help him pee with a urinal.

Hope everything goes well with your husband.

I can only pray that this will be the last time. How are you doing today?


I didn't know Brian had surgery. What was it for, if you don't mind me asking?

Was out early to visit with a friend, go have lunch, fill meds at the pharmacy, and then a massive grocery shopping as I was out of everything even butter. My leg muscles are mad at me so have decided to be tight and sore. But all in all it's been a good day!

How is yourself?

The stimulator in his back broke so he had to get it replaced.

Wow, If I did all that in one day I would have to rest for two days. Hope your legs feel better.

Slept in till 10 am, only got up because my alarm for meds was going off, LOL. Yesterday did tire me, and I'm glad I don't have anything pressing to do till Monday.

well it's pouring rain here and we already have 3 inches, so that means lots of flooding will be going on. ugh.
Still I am headed out to ss and church.

Did not feel well Friday night. Cold, shivering, couldn't get warm for a few hours, then I was too warm. Then super restless. Was supposed to go to a farmer's market to get pumpkins Saturday morning but since I didn't sleep much we didn't go. No fever so no flu. So Saturday was a bust since, while I finally got a couple hours sleep on the sofa, I still never felt well all day. Better today but still feeling off. Planning to go for the pumpkins this next Saturday. Temps will be more autumn like too instead of the summertime 80s we have now. Will be nearly 90 tomorrow which is just crazy for October.

Hope Brian is healing well and is getting to be able to do stuff for himself now!

Hope hubby is okay. Good that y'all keep on those check ups and getting the growths removed asap!

Sounds like a nice but busy day. Glad you recovered from the extra exercise pretty quickly.

Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well, but very glad you don't seem to have the flu. Reminds me that I need to get my flu shot on Wednesday since I have to get my follow up chat scan on my chest Tuesday.

He's able to move around. So I don't have to deal with a urinal. A nurse should be by tomorrow to change his bandages.

Right now just glad he can move around some. Makes me nervous, thoughXD

no we still have rain coming in. flooding not in my area yet but close.

hope when the nurse changed the bandage that it looked good. I do understand how never racking it can be when your loved one goes through something like this.

It looked good after they were removed. Though it was a little disconcerting seeing the staples. But at least he's got those changed and was able to take a shower :)
