OMG! Just got the phone call from the hospital!!! My surgery is october 29th. For those who missed it i am getting a gastric bypass. Have to check in at 10am and surgery will be somewhere in the afternoon. Will have to stay for a day.

Congrats, on getting this surgery, hope a one day stay after your procedure will be enough.

Hope everyone is enjoying the pirates. Not caught anything from the shop though I've not tried really since it started since I've not been on much. Slow laptop makes it more difficult. Only got one new item from carl quests so far. Will toss my extras into my extras shop once I get organized if anyone needs anything. All my extras for this and morostide and fireside will go there. It's linked in the KS forums or you can get there from my profile.

Did our touristy day yesterday for my mom's birthday. Had a good day. Out for about 11 hours. Exhausted us both since we sat far less than usual because it was so crowded for a Thursday in late September. Also ate too much ice cream (had ice cream cones by the beach in the afternoon and root beer floats with our hotdogs for dinner) but it's just one day, right? Won't do that again any time soon.

doc thought the scope was okay but he did find another cancer on his back. don't know if it's melanoma again or not until after testing on the October the 3rd. such a long wait, sigh
As for the pirates, I never can get anything from the shop but I did get a few things from Carl. Not doing to much battling though.
I was really happy to see saggi as the week end quest. Saving up for luminaire. lol

carl and ocean depths vending machine. Only the boots I restocked and that was a miracle. Sounds like you had a good tiring day out.

skin cancers are most not the bad kind, thankfully. Hope this one turns out not bad.

He is getting his stimulator replaced.

Hi all. Been having a lot of stress with my appliances, but all fixed now except the A/C, and we will have to replace the floor under it and next to it as well as under the washer and dryer. Sigh. Always something...

Rained heavy all night and lighter most of today. So nice. Love the rain as long as no one has to go out in it. Sleeping is great. But really wish I had awnings or deep overhangs so I could open the windows and listen to the rain without it coming in.

Has anyone heard from ? Been so long. I miss her.

Hope Brian's surgery goes well and recovery is quick! Hope hubby's melanoma HAS NOT returned. How awful. Oooh thanks for the tip about the Ocean Depths. Too much rain. Only one day in the coming week might be without rain. Serious blah. Sorry about all your appliances. Stuff like that does seem to happen all at one time a lot. Taarna left KS awhile back, but she's still playing subeta and we chat in comments and smail. Door is always open for her to return whenever she wants, if she ever wants, but for now she seems content to be wandering about subeta. And she can come chat in this thread any time even if she doesn't return to the KS forums too of course. Hopefully she'll play in our toting thread during morostide.

Oh my, happy Birthday! Hope you have a wonderful brunch or day out in what I hope is lovely fall weather for you.

Health issues will always be there. Have to go for another chest cat scan for the beginning emphysema. More of a concern right now is my looming Grand Jury Duty that denied my asking not to have to go for health reasons. My doctor sent a letter as well. Wait to see on that as it is not until November. I've done Grand Jury before and I loved it - was even Foreperson. But in Suffolk county you serve for 4 days a week for 3 months and I am just not up to it.
