Still feeling meh. A lot and not a lot of stuff going on here.
Had the house painted. Three days of contractors is such fun. not. They did an okay job but were messy and we've been left with some touch ups and clean up of drips. My brother will do most of them. Hopefully we don't find too many issues on the 2nd story because he can't really do the higher up areas. If he could we'd not have needed to hire painters.
Also my sink ( I have a sink in my bedroom by my closet that is by a door to the full bath which is accessible from the hallway) rusted through and leaked. So we need a plumber and to replace the sink and faucet. Going to do both my sink and the hall bathroom sink at the same time so they match.
So many things on the house needing work at one time. It's all very stressful.

I'd tell everyone to stay cool but I know that is nearly impossible atm. I do hope we all manage to stay cool and those that need rain can get some without severe weather.

Had a little remodel here in my house. Got rid of the oven, little fridge and cooking station. And thanks to gran's will i got some money and bought a bigger fridge and a cooking stove.

Congrats! Looks great. I would dearly LOVE to change some things in my kitchen. Namely all the cabinets. The appliances are all fine but the cabinets are falling apart.

This is our week for heat, humidity and rain. God awful mix.

One of my favourite things about websites like this is the community, but I've always hated how a lot of friendships on things like these are just really surface level things that fade away quickly. humidity sounds like a terrible mix with heat. We have dry heat here.

Still icky health, but the street paving is done so that is good. My arm looks terrible from my blood test for allergies. Big black mark from a surface vein prick. Going to see mama mia at the outdoor theater tomorrow with dmy.

Glad for improvement but wish your health were better. Can relate to the bruising, still have dark images on both arms where non IV nurses tried to draw blood while I was in the hospital.

Finished with the visiting nurses but will be stuck with the lab techs coming for blood occasionally. Still trying to regulate my blood pressure meds. Met with my dr yesterday and now have my own blood pressure monitor and need to meet with a kidney dr to determine which bp pill will work best with a diuretic that I will start today so that I have a happy body.

You are exactly right, and high humidity is a staple of summer. Yesterday the dew point was at 70 and my sinuses complained in spite of flonase.

So yeah, ksrs, heading down to Kentucky for the weekend. Hopefully back Monday before the rain/storms start popping up. Too much open land between here and there to want to drive through storms. Will pop on in the evenings probably but likely not for long until I get back.
