Hoping they'll go down again, they're up to 40k. I figure I'll try waiting till Fri or the weekend to see if wishlist items go down in price & try to do some quests to get some sp :D

Well the free shop closes tomorrow night so we'll see, but i don't doubt it. :D

I created a new pet on Friday and I'm working on the other pets I have (slowly), so this was a nice incentive to get my butt in gear. :)

I got a sad sticker one time and then got the same sticker the next time. There definitely are doubles of things in there. I'm having fun, even if it's an inexpensive item, oftentimes I don't have it since it's my first year here :) Enjoying finding a variety of things ^^

Oh yea there's definitely doubles and SO MANY STICKERS AND MELODY ITEMS OMF Dx But yea it's always a great time, i really enjoy it, it's nice to get a bunch of free stuff.

I've gotten a good mix of things, but some have been pretty nice!

I've gotten quite a few foods, clothes, or collectible items that I needed, plus some extras of things that I threw into my shop to sell later. Either way, I can never complain about free stuff :P

I'm glad they still do this every year, it's pretty nice and they do put some good things in there! :)

Some are this year's melody items, which I have... but some are previous years so I'm happy about those. I've also gotten some books Poukie hadn't read, plushies for my gallery, and a whole bunch of other things. My wrist & hand are sore though :P

yeah they ended up watching a recorded movie. I prefer to watch stuff on tv when I watch with other people. If it is just me watching, then I don't mind watching things online.

Better quality than online :D I can't afford cable. I found a plan for unlimited internet at a low/reasonable cost and that's the only "luxury" that I have. My aunt pays my phone. I watch tv series I like online... takes a bit of time to load (I don't save it on my computer, just play) and clear history after. I also borrow lots of movies from the library for free ^^

Dang the temp is getting colder tonight & will be low for the next few days. I was thinking of going out tomorrow but I'll have to see since it's supposed to be -20C.

The last couple years too many of the Melody items were thrown into the free shop and everybody kept getting multiples of them so much that the prices of the pretty special Melody gifts dropped so low we were giving them away. It was kind of sad. At least that doesn't seem to have happened this time. So how's everyone doing on tokens? I used the ones I had left over from last year to buy the items I wanted and then started stashing the new ones in my vault. Got a lot now. Wish there was more in the shop I wanted. Wish the cute kitties and puppies came in more colors,.

Since it's my first time, I'm doing the best I can to get some tokens but exhaustion & other issues have made it tough to do all the quests. I've gotten some so I'll be able to get a few nice things. Eyes are closing on me so I better go to bed.

I'm not sure I'll go out tomorrow or erm later today since apart from being frostbite cold out it's snowing, making it difficult to walk.

Well, good luck. Just remember to try and save some tokens in your vault for next year. That way when the shop opens again you can buy some of the new items right away. I always save some coins or tokens for the next time, especially since I don't want/buy everything in the shop. I got maybe a dozen things from the new year shop but don't really want anything else so when the event is over I'll probably use the tokens to buy a few things to sell.

I just don't have time to do all of the quests today to get tokens so only doing the same ones I usually do daily any way. Wish some new stuff would be released in the shop but will probably buy some items to sell later when the event is over. How's everybody doing? Getting enough tokens to buy what you want? :D

My Mom got a big 55" tv when she retired so it is deff better for all of us to sit on the couch and watch stuff on that! My comp monitor is tiny :(

I used tokens on the food and stickers (needed doubles of the wearable food, hate wearable food!!!) and paid sp for the sweaters. Hopefully I will get all the items I want before it ends :D

I don't think I bothered with any of the food or stickers as my gourmand pet has already reached the achievement. I wanted mainly the wearables and also books for my gallery.

Nice colour combo & very sharky, although I have to admit your box look is one of my favs... always wondering what next will sit on top :D Doing a new look myself, got the main wig & background from the free shop ^^

I've cashed in all the tokens I get. I haven't spent a lot since I'm waiting to see if some item prices go down and/or token prices go down so I can get more items that way. 1st time around is always tougher since I'm starting from scratch so there's more that I want... but it just makes me more appreciative of what I can get :D

Is there an option to hook up your computer to the tv? I do that with my projector when I want to see something bigger, although usually if it's on the net the quality is lower so it becomes pixelated/fuzzy when on a huge screen.

Free shop has been very kind, then again I can be happy with an inexpensive plushie I didn't have :P The batwing blade seems to be helping out a bit in battle, so it was a good grab :)
