That is WAY too much snow for me! I am just glad I don't have to shovel. My poor back could not take it!

All I can say is my snowblower was worth every penny!!! :P I am only a little less than 2 hours from the city and they've got nothing!

It's around -10 Celsius here today which is about 14 Fahrenheit. I am REALLY enjoying my fire today. Every time I go out to shovel it takes about an hour & a half. I've got good gear but I'm still cold when I come in! The fireplace has been greatly appreciated. :D

around -20C (-4F) here now... without windchill. Warnings of -42C/-43.6F with wind (-28C/-18.4F without) next few days. I refuse to go out unless I really have to since I have to use my emergency inhaler to help deal with that level of cold.

I opened my gifts under the tree :D I've just been honestly super swamped/overwhelmed/exhausted & trying to do things in RL. I plan on trying to send individual thank you messages... but I just don't know when. Priority is being able to take a bath, wash dishes, make food... just basic RL stuff that these days have been challenging. Today is the 1st day I'm not going out, seeing anyone, etc. I managed to do a load of laundry... but I have 2 to put away erm 3 one's on a chair. I haven't even been able to eat at a regular time. So I'm a bit tense but I will eventually be able to spend time writing thank yous. Haven't even been battling & so want to do that! Poukie is excited to try things out ;) hugs

Nice snags in the Free shop. The weather here is cold (18 last I checked) and it has been lightly snowing since 10am EST.

That's a great snag! I nabbed a 1 week gold account medal today.

It's the only thing I've gotten from the free shop that I will keep, everything else is getting fragged or thrown into my shop.

Snow is easier to remove than rain, so you're not soaking wet. It's pretty when it's white... but not so much when there's dirt or it's yellow. A bit of snow isn't too tough to shovel (or use a broom to clean a balcony like I do) but a larger amount becomes heavy & can cause back pain. Kids love making snow people, forts, snow angels, and the like. Adults tend to no longer do those things or as often. There are some that sculpt snow & ice... can be quite beautiful. It's also a good excuse to drink warm coco ;)

Yeah the weather is crazy! I grocery shop in the next city over and the other day it was like a mini blizzard there and I came home to see that we didn't get any of the snow.

I totally forgot about mysterious melody so I signed up a few min ago. Geez am I behind in trying to do things

I only tried mysterious Melody once this year. I sent a round of really cute themed items but heard nothing from them :( I had so many ideas. I just decided that was my only try this time. probably wont even bother next year.

Mine's fun, we've tossed a variety of expensive items plus some munchies. Too bad yours didn't work out :(
