- so read in bed - if necessary there are some very nice book lights now.
- nice gift from Shinwa.
Oh - you are in for a big treat!
I will just pop an extra tylenol pm lol. I have to buy a light.
You can also see the skins in the wardrobe on that page. The Nostalgic one looks like this and it's my favorite of the ones that I'm still missing.
Got all the achievements. My pet had already eaten most of them so only had to pick up the last few. Now she's drunk.... :D
Grrr, this is at least the 3rd time the Zoba has been in Dara's darlings. Getting tired of seeing it. Where is the Maneku. I haven't seen that minion once yet. :(

maybe it's just a book
- thank you. Good Luck getting the Nostalgic skin later this month.
- you're welcome.
- it will show up. Unlike Fresh and Flavorful (jwhich is totally random), I think there is some pattern (or staff control) to what appears at Dara's.
Yeah but I'm getting tired of waiting since it's the only new minion I really wanted. So did everybody get their pets all drunk? :D

Movie was interesting... I didn't know it was a side story/prequil so I kept wondering where was the continuation of the other movie :)
Pretty tuckered out today, managed to go to class & we got Thanksgiving lunch :) I had to return something to the library this evening. I didn't get to rest much this afternoon, people kept calling & there's no easy way to quickly turn off then back on the ringers on my phones.
Gismo's snoring & I'm debating sleeping early or a movie.
I stopped going to her. I just wanted the stat boosts.
I saw the movie because I LOVE Star Wars, but I want a happy ending so I was not a big fan of the movie :(
Maybe put in a movie that you have seen before and wont mind if you fall asleep during it?
Hey Sharkies, Coda Caves are open :D

- I didn't. What happens when you get your pet drunk? And how do you do that - have them drink certain beers or any beer at all?
- it's a prequel to the original trilogy but clearly a side story. :-)
- you could just use the intel boosters - and sell or trade the others.
I usually like happy endings much better as well (and I generally hate it when any character I care about dies too) - but I really liked this particular movie. I thought it was well done as a Star Wars film. And, if you consider the whole timeline, it sort of had a happy ending - they did get the plans back to the rebels and gave them cause for hope. Not the big happy ending I usually want but ...
Thanks for the Coda Caves info, I always tend to forget. Anyone know if there's a ping group for that?
I would have figured it out much sooner that it was a prequel if I wasn't sick, giggle snort sniffle mucus cough :S :P
I think the retro effects including the ships looking like maquettes instead of computerized images did set the mood back. I think that it's only because the original movies were so popular & that it has a strong fan base as well as what is/isn't acceptable with society helped make the movie possible. I like that there was a strong female lead. I'm not big on tragedies; however, way back in Greek times, Shakespear times, etc. tragedies have their place. I'm glad I saw the movie but it's not one I'd want to see again.
I saw Thor Dark World the day before... liked it but wished the woman would have had a stronger, more "intelligent" role to play rather than the goal to save her :/
Last night I chose an animated movie that was 1.5 hrs long... oftentimes if I'm a bit tired I go by amount of time and choose the shortest one :D Prophet Kaena... it was an odd kind of Adam & Eve story. Interesting concept but I would have done the story differently.
I have Grave of the Fireflies (animated) OR Spectre 007 (James Bond) for tonight. Not sure which yet.
I woke up around 6 am because the bleeping heater went into Econo mode and refused to heat... Gismo & I were cold :S The landlord doesn't have a manual... I found a newer model manual that's similar to mine... annoyingly don't even have a product number just the name. I'm hoping when I reprogram this time it'll work. Grumbles, people keep doing renovations requiring large machines, jackhammers, etc on my street. One stops then a few days later another starts. It's not as bad in my bedroom but it's annoying in the living room where I spend most of my waking time.
Gismo's trying to sleep (amidst the jackhammering) and my eyes are closing so I might try to rest too.
I think it's the same ping group for token shop but I'm not sure, You might have to look around the forums. Also after the 1st time you have the option of making an alert to dig again.

Dang I forgot about those lol. I guess I am heading back to Shinwa's :P
The landlord put something in that he doesn't know how to maintain? Why does that not shock me?!?! Hopefully you are feeling a little better now hugs
I am a big sap, so I just LOVE when things work out in the end! I was kinda confused about the movie because some of it didn't make a lot of sense. I was expecting "many Bothans" to die and then I rememberd that was the second Death Star lmao!
I loved the addition of Vader! At least that was less jarring than Princess Lea, but that was because it was easier to throw in a big guy in a suit then to CG her in. I liked the nostalgia of seeing her and how it all tied together in the end, but it was still a little creepy lol.
Hope I covered everything! My brain is fried right now. I bought a new tv stand and I am trying to put it together. There are only about 10000 pieces to it!!!!! I was not expecting that.
If you can find this movie:
it is pretty interesting. It is a French version of Beauty and the Beast. Not the best movie in the world, but deff an interesting take on the story! I am not familiar with the original non disney version of the story, so this might be it or just something totally different.
I know it's not the same as token shop since I'm part of that one (very useful). Hum, maybe would know if there's a ping group for coda caves.
I like the happy endings too, especially when I'm not feeling well :) I liked the addition of Princess Lea at the end, actually that's what made me realize it was a prequel lol I normally am pretty fast at figuring things like this out. The Hobbit is a prequel to Lord of the Rings & I liked that better than this prequel.
Haven't seen that movie, I'll try to keep it in mind :)
When I have to assemble tough furniture I check I have all the pieces, go at it slowly and take breaks. Sometimes the instructions are horrid, luckily I'm good at puzzles ;) Since Gismo can't hold pieces for me (even though he's curious & wants to play sometimes) I have to get creative when holding pieces that normally could have used an extra pair of hands.
I found a Subeta pet that kind of looks like Gismo... Chibi Experiment

^ The thread for whenever the Coda Caves are active. It's always the same couple of days every month, I don't really bother going anymore since I don't need anything from there though.
Also aren't there a bunch of versions of the old fairy tale kinds of stories out there (like Beauty and the Beast or others)? Because I know the Disney versions are based on older stories, but in Disney's case I think they toned them down quite a bit. The original versions tend to be a lot less happy feel-good stories.
I haven't seen that French version, but I saw the new live-action Disney version of Beauty and the Beast earlier this year (the one with Emma Watson) and I liked it. The aesthetic was nice, and all of the scenes looked really pretty. And the songs were great, of course.
I keep needing reminders (also part of your deadlines group ;) ), joined the coda cave group thanks :D
I'm waiting for the library to get the newest Beauty & the Beast with Emma Watson to see it. Be our guest, be our guest (starts humming) :D
Yes, the original fairy tales have a darker side, but nothing wrong with a light fluffy version once in a while ;) Neverending story had some scary parts though when I was a kid.
Definitely watch it whenever you get the chance! It wasn't much different from the animated version, but still nice and fun to watch. The "Be Our Guest" sequence was especially impressive with the CGI and effects, it was basically the musical number version of "We're Disney and we have lots of money to afford this." :P
I haven't seen Neverending Story in ages, but I remember watching it as a kid and liking it but being scared during some parts. Maybe I'll watch it again soon, I've been going through and watching some older movies I haven't seen in a while so I'll add that one to the list. :)
I saw Neverending Story as an adult and it was interesting... as kids it's easier to get into the story & not see the "puppets", with advances in tech you really see the difference. The cave part with the dangerous monster was the scariest... but Pet Cemetary no matter what age freaks me out. No way no how. I was at a babysitter's and her teenage kids convinced me it wasn't "scary" so we could watch it, huff yeah right, shudders. When I saw commercials for just the commercials gave me nightmares :S I have one of those memories that lasts longer than most, so I still remember the plotline if I think of it.
