Yeah the other day I had a Star Trek marathon :D

I got a couple of the times. Too cheap to buy all the stuff lol.

I bought what I needed but, lordy, it's painfully slow feeding them to Archangelica... and I'm feeding it all to her because I'm working towards the Gourmand so at least it suits 2 purposes.

I am SOOOOOOO glad it's a long weekend! We have our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend and it feels like it is even extra early this year!!! I am not even going up to the city. I have to go up the next two weekends and I am honestly just worn out! Plus I desperately need to do some stuff around the house! O_o

I watched almost all the other ones. I skipped Enterprise. I loved Deep Space Nine. That is actually my fave. I know it is not as popular, but I really loved all the characters!

Thanks! Mom and Dad were worried about me being here alone- just me and the dog- but honestly? I need the break. I grabbed some groceries on the way home so I'll make myself roast chicken with all the fixings! :D Penny will eat well right along with me! Lol... lucky girl. Can't believe she will be 16 in February! Such a sweet old girl she is!

Deep Space Nine is right up there in my top picks too- with Enterprise being my least favourite. We'll see where Discovery lands.

I never saw any of the Hobbit movies. But I did really love the Lord of the Rings trilogy of movies (although there were a few parts that really should have better matched the books). And yes, the Hobbit was written first. Lord of the Rings started as just a sequel and then became much much more. There was originally supposed to be a second part (the Silmarillion) that was never really completely finished (a shame).

For what it's worth I originally tried to read The Hobbit first and had some trouble getting into it (which was rare for me). It does seem to have something of a slow start. But after I read Lord of the Rings, I was able to get through the beginning and read The Hobbit and was glad I did. Lord of the Rings was indeed published as three books although it's not clear that it was intended to be a trilogy. It (all of it) was supposed to be the first book of a two book series with The Silmarillion as the second book. I understand not all versions of Lord of the Rings are published as trilogies.

Thanks :) That beat took a lot of strategy & patience... but good to practice & see how I can push Poukie. I train her mostly evenly but up her strength with most of her battle quest points. I think I'll aim for a high strength, medium-high hp build once I get 5k but it'll take maybe a few years to do that :P
