I know I could probably use some freezer scrolls, but they're pretty expensive and I can't afford them right now. I'll probably wait until I'm able to earn some myself.

I only have a general idea about what scrolls are any good, you'd probably be better off asking some other battlers like for recommendations.

For what it's worth, I am mostly a beginner at understanding scrolls and which ones are best. But I can tell you for certain that they can be a BIG help. I was amazed at how useful my Aftershocks Scroll is (just one example since I have very few scrolls).

Having a scroll with some extra healing (plus a little attack or defense) is definitely nice! I got the Triple Threat scroll for beating Tatuvichwa 5 times yesterday, and I'm still working on Crithbolcan for the Aftershocks scroll.

I'll try to write to people individually when I'm more up for it. I have read messages; it's just I'm dealing with a lot in RL and when I'm on Subeta I've just been focusing on quiet tasks or games.

Landlord caused more stress asking if I had paid rent when I did & it passed in the bank :S More issues with that but don't want to get into it... Then he announces he's coming Tues, tomorrow, on Fri. Issues with that but he'll be coming and I've had to work even more on my apart (grumbles).

I'm getting a new lawyer... the one that was supposed to replace my regular one on sick leave for months turns out he was a quick temp so now the one that will be replacing long term started today.

I found out Saturday my court date is a lot sooner than anticipated (expected Aug from officer that filled out court request). Well it's May 9th so in 2 weeks. I had scheduled to do my last wisdom tooth a few days before that so had to reschedule. Then there's the new lawyer, not much time to get to know my case or try to negotiate with bleep bleep landlord.

So yeah, I've been scrambling and tense. Then there's pollen allergies & (worse) cleaning of the streets that has given me issues hindering my recovery. I've been taking allergy meds for the past few days and that's helping.

Good news is that I've managed to do a few things... bring large pile of clothing I wanted to donate to Salvation Army. Go to two food workshops where we made Korean & Vietnamese meals... got to bring some extra home, yay. I was supposed to get an honorarium for participating at the Round Table for Poverty, well I finally got remunerated (yay). I was supposed to be on a delivery distribution for this month at one of my food banks... turns out they forgot. Good news is that I was there in person and I got to choose exactly what I wanted. It was supposed to be brought by a staff that afternoon... but she was ill and forgot. So, the next day other staff helped me out & one came over to bring my bags. I even found some fancy chocolate I got to take, happy dance!

I also went to the grocery store, a feat I had been unable to do for months. I got several ready-made foods to prepare for the tooth surgery & help with the low energy. I also got Gismo a few cans of wet food. He likes a particular brand and is fussy... I'm trying him on another in hopes he'll accept it since it's a bit cheaper.

I managed to go to the library, return movies and get more! Today, I managed to go to my classes (walk/stretch/relaxation in morning & women's discussion in afternoon, lunch provided if we do morning & afternoon class). For the walk, I have permission to go to the library so I got more movies, tee hee. I got "Finding Dory"... guess what I'm watching tonight? :D

We had a nice surprise in the woman's group... our facilitator had put aside donated jewelry so we got to choose a few nice goodies. I had missed a class they did body lotion and surprise surprise, they made a jar for me! Sniffles, so sweet :)

So I'm hanging in there, if someone pings me I do read the message, it's just right now I'm hiding in the reefs a bit trying to regroup and rest.

I've been told that Aftershocks is a battling staple even for many even at the highest tiers, so I"m sure that you will enjoy it when you have defeated Crithbolcan.

I've heard that its good to have at least a second battle pet, to double up on loot. I've been training a second pet but they don't measure up to my main one. Even then they still help get me extra loot on weaker opponents. I still have 100 more quests to go to get the invite xD I'm really slow

Fair enough :D I'll have to look at scroll stuff soon, I don't think I've touched it since like, 2 years ago... or something... Lately I'm trying to do features that I never do, like baking also. I was a level 2 baker and now I'm level 5.

yeah, that's why other battle pets are good. it's just not as fun the second time and I don't want to dump the time and resources it takes to build up another pet that strong. I have some t9 and a t10 pet so that's a pretty good start haha

don't worry about it. drills is an annoying challenger with bad loot anyway

- sleep is important too. Thankfully, Battle Quests count no matter what time of day you do them.

Maybe next time, your pet should ride you into battle instead. :-)

Body lotion! Scented? Any soap making? I've always wanted to try that but it requires freezer room and pots and utensils that can never be used for food again. :D There was a good year in my life dedicated to fragrance oil collecting and creating.

Haven't opened the jar yet. Other occasions we've done pour & melt soap, much safer than soap from scratch. Actually planned to make soap from scratch as a side business but never happened & had equipped myself too.

Starting to look for aparts & also talking to my contacts to let them know I'll be needing help. It's going to be pretty busy next while & yeah landlord is a leach... but I'm going to get more than what most do so even that is a victory. Min I'm getting is 3 months rent as compensation plus reasonable moving expenses. I'm going to get my family doc to write a note indicating I need help pack/unpack so hopefully I'll get a turnkey move approved by the court. Two years ago (less than a year after I moved in) he offered 2 months rent no moving expenses. After that came the threats of breaking lease by his lawyers. So right now it's the best offer he's had to make. It'll be up to my lawyer to squeeze him as much as he can & most likely the court to hopefully see through the shenanigans.

That's why every pet I get immediately starts training and all of my pets are in training all the time. So if there's any item that a T9 pet can get I'm able to get a lot of them because by now most of my pets are T9-11. :) Comes in handy some times.

Nope, this is the right one! I think the board closes at 5k posts, so we still have about 3k more posts to go. :) I think we usually just migrate during seasonal events and plots.

My father's president of a historical society... if people sit down to listen to him talk, they have no idea when they'll be leaving. He has a way with telling stories :) I have a bit of his talent, but don't remember dates/names well so history isn't my best subject ;)
