Sometimes even if one is creative, tries really hard, puts lots of time and effort... it doesn't wind up being chosen. I've entered two shark contests in which I put a lot of energy, thought, etc. in them... didn't win anything. Followed the rules, though I had done as they asked and nope, nada. It happens. Try to dust myself off and know I did the best I could. Sometimes it's more disappointing than others, but then I try to focus on learning & trying another time or just accepting that it isn't just the destination that's important, the journey is just as meaningful.

Spent good part of the day dealing with issues due to landlord. Sigh. Things will eventually be resolved but it's consuming a lot of time and energy.

It doesn't look terrible.

I would maybe move up the text box and friend box a little more so there isn't as much scrolling. And the white text looks nice, but for the pet and minion names it's a little hard to read since it ends up against the white of the clouds as well.

Other than that I like it. The poem is nice, and the treasure looks nice with it.

Hey and Hi waves

I've lost count of all the HA contests I've entered and I can't say losing hurt me exactly. The judge's wording is hurtful. They like saying "it looks weird" a lot. The last time they threw out a different nomination a few days after they've mentioned coding not displaying correctly for people, notification "It looks weird --" AND while I was changing it so it served as a bad reminder.) I have to accept they don't like scrolling right on this page (even though that wasn't a problem for winners in the past, no explanation. :/

I'll try to do that, I wish the notification said that instead of stepping on our toes with "it looks weird"

Yeah that is pretty offensive :( I see no reason to be insulting. Especially to people who play their site. Every once in a while I consider learning how to code a petpage, but then I just give up because of things like this.

I did drills enough to unlock the challenger, but it was a long time ago before the improvements (and better prizes ugh) and I skipped a ton of them so it was a slow process
