ahhh i think i see what happened here! so, im assuming you meant for the dress to be kind of a kimono/wrap style dress, but because the part of the bust that connects to the waist is dead center it doesn't read like that - it reads as if it's supposed to be centered on the HA's boobles but isn't going with the 3/4 perspective. i think if you moved where the two triangles meet to the center of the ha's boobs OR moved it even more over to the right (our right, HA's left) to make it SUPER clear that it's wrap-style, the issue would be resolved (:

hopefully that makes sense, im in the middle of 3459 things but i can redline in a sec if it doesnt!

try inversing the bust area or just that overlapping line of the image. I'm having trouble believing the proportion of that area because the direction of the line is suggesting the further away side of the HA is larger.

HA-left (Our right,) should be closer.

What do you need help with --- denial

Was there a denial --- yes

First denial: Your custom clothing White Coat of Altruism was denied for the following reason(s): • OVERLAY: Colored lineart and/or lineart so thin it appears colored • OVERLAY: Sticker effect: flatness due to black lineart around the edges and colored or missing lineart inside • OVERLAY: Gray artwork, possibly from shading with black and/or highlighting with white • NOTE: The shading on the hand is very gray and not matching the actual tones on the HA • NOTE: The lineart on our left is very gray as well.

Second denial: Your custom clothing White Coat of Altruism was denied for the following reason(s): • ITEM and OVERLAY: Issues from previous denial were not sufficiently addressed • NOTE: Just because they are "directly eye dropped' does not mean they are going to come out exactly the same, depending on your settings, how you choose to shade, etc. In this case, it DOES look gray and this needs to be adjusted prior to it being acceptable.

Optional Can we take a look at the PSD files --- no since it's a commission Can we redline --- yes of course, I'd appreciate it

if I zoom-in a lot, I'd say the last shading layer of the hand (the darkest shadows) is maybe a bit faded - perhaps try boosting up the saturation of it + make it a biiit darker? I mean, it's color-dropped indeed so it should be fine QQ, but if she's not happy with it im assuming making it a bit more colored could help!

try CTRL+U'ing for like, +15 / +20 saturation maybe? It might look a bit too saturated but once resized it should also remove the 'gray shading' (tbh that's just being really picky x.x )

if i just add saturation there without making it darker though, it is hardly visible;; it kinda becomes the same color as the second shading :c

hmmm maybe a smidge darker then? I definitely think it looks less 'gray' though, so that's pretty much fixing her issue!

Was there a denial ---

2nd denial now....

Your custom clothing Mark of the Beloved Dog was denied for the following reason(s): • ITEM: Shaky, rough, or inconsistent lineart • ITEM: Thick or heavy lineart • NOTE: This is looking better, but the lineart on the item is still very shaky/rough, especially on the right-hand side. There are parts of it that look like marker bleeding into paper and it doesn't quite make sense with the item - the lineart should be nice and crisp

Optional Can we take a look at the PSD files --- yes Can we redline --- yes

ellow! Do you use SAI or photoshop to line?

The lineart's a biiit too thick, but you could also try using counterlight to fix the 'blending' issue. This often happens when the shadows are so dark, it gives the impression that they're merging with the lineart itself!

Do you draw your lineart free hand or use a line / vector tool for it? Sometimes using a line / vector tool can make the lines very pixelated on the resize. In the case of that when I absolutely need to use the line tool for long, straight lines I go back in after and do some touch ups by hand. n_n

I don't work at final size personally, but if that works for you, it's not wrong. Personally what I simply do is I use whatever tool I use to freehand line and the eraser to make adjustments until it's looking correct. It takes some practice and patience, but it is a useful skill for situations such as this n_n
