Vulpix for sure. It's my all time favorite Pokemon. ^_^ I wonder how easy it would be to find? I may give it a go but I'm pretty happy with my DS version at the moment. My friends have been asking me to join in too so I may well do so. Which Pokemon are you hunting for?

I really appreciate that, and I'm sure you'll be much more welcome anywhere for it. I just downloaded pokemon go but the servers have been down since so I haven't actually played it yet. I'm kinda with SlashSlashx on the waiting thing, since there's probably gonna be a lot of bug fixes and maybe even new avatar personalization options in the next few weeks, but I'm also kinda impatient so :/ I gotta admit though I'm sort of looking foreward to the chaos from people playing without common sense, I mean there's so much potential for crazy shit with this it's amazing.

Is this something like Munzie or Geocaching? I know someone doing it, but don't really know much about it. Though I DO love geocaching and finding Munzies is also fun. :)

I am right there with you! I'm expecting a bunch of stupidity but also I can only hope people won't hurt themselves over this game. I was in traffic the other day on the way to work and the car next to me was playing and driving :(

It is quite similar to Geocaching (I love it too!). I do not know what Munzies are but it does sound similar (where you travel around to find them). If anything, at least now we are sneaking in more exercise lol

I love Vulpix and Ninetails. I'm not sure how hard Ninetails would be to get given you have to evolve them but at least I can have a few fuzzy Vulpix! I'd also be after a Zorua for a Zoroak plus Zorua is adorable. I wonder if the Deerling will change based on where you are? For example, if I go on holiday to Australia in July (their winter) would I get a summer or winter variant?

Oh, that is really fun! i'm not much into pokemon (I know! ha. :)) but I love any hide and seek thing like that. Munzie is very similar to geocaching except you just look for markers and scan them with your app vs finding an actual box with a log. It's basically the same thing. It's been a few years since I've done much of either, but something I want to do more of when my toddler is just a tad older!

There's already been a death from the driving thing! That one's actually a little terrifying, like I think they should have a feature that shuts down the app, or at least doesn't display pokemon, if it detects a certain speed. I'm full into it now and caught like ten pidgies and a pidgiotto, but missed out on a magicarp and weedle from glitches, which sucked!

I have to admit that is one of the things that worries me a little. Games just don't understand when is not a good time. I thought I'd play a bit of Nintendogs and Cats before a meeting (I had an hour to go and I'm working as a volunteer) but it insisted my dog went to play with other dogs and gave me an ultra rare walk when I started refusing to let my dog play. I ended up rushing everything and missing items because it didn't have a setting for basic play as I had so little time. This is why I prefer the DS version. If you're catching a rare Pokemon and you have to do something, you just shut the system and it pauses while you take care of what you need to do. Pokemon Go doesn't have that. That is a very impressive Pokemon line up. Is there a limit to the number of Pokemon you can have?

Yeah, I feel like it should all be a matter of common sense, but people just get too into it. You can only hold 250, but you can transfer away ones you don't want to keep. It's easy to find Pokemon though, like I already got tons I thought would be rare, hopefully once people realize that they'll be less desperate to catch them in dumb situations.

So far, there is only the original 150 lineup. I've heard they plan on releasing more in the future, but we can only catch the original batch for right now. As for location based, I've heard that the rare ones are more location based. For instance, Pikachu can be found near power plants/stations, Water pokemon in lakes/beach/ponds but it may be different in other countries.

I've heard of that too! I've seen pictures from a local car shop where someone had sent their car to be fixed because they were chasing a pokemon and hit a tree. I don't condone the driver playing while driving, but I have had friends in my car playing while I safely drive them around town. We can only warn people not to do it :(

It's crazy how much it's all over the news! Like they're trying to make it out that the game itself is horrible and dangerous when it's just, people are going outside without taking precautions? I don't know, I've been playing it and so far it's pretty easy not to die. Like it's not fast paced action where you need to be focusing on the screen, there is plenty of time to look up while crossing the street or to check for shady people or whatever, it's totally possible to play and be aware of your surroundings. I'm honestly a little mind blown at how sensationalized it's getting.

It's warm but the wind is blowing so hard it's cooling everything down. Which is a relief really. I've just gotten back from holiday and I'm catching up with work. Has anyone else been away? THis summer has been crazy for me. I'm grateful for the work, but whew. I really need a vacation! Unfortunately, the only time my hubby could get off (he was going to take me on a surprise beach trip for my birthday!) was messed up due to his co-worker having an unavoidable need to be out of town that same week. So, I'm not sure if we'll be able to pull anything off after all. Maybe in September. :)

I'm very much looking forward to Subeta's upcoming annual events (pirate week!) and to our little lumi gift exchange for ! It's such a highlight for me. :D
