No he doesn't follow anyone around unless he thinks you have food for him. He is just more affectionate and demanding of attention from my other half than me. I think it's because I pick him up to do his nails and other things he doesn't like and my other half doesn't since Thumper doesn't like it.

Yes definitely! I was engaged right out of highschool, but we both decided we didn't want to be married that early, then we waited for it to be more consistently legal, and now six years later we've just been building up to it at our leisure, but I can definitely be sure now that I won't regret it! I imagine the ceremony is a lot less scary with that for reassurance.

Yes it is. Giving yourself time to decide what you want and then how much money you need. It is worth staying engaged longer I think :)

Ha honestly I still don't know where to start with it. We're not in a position financially to pull one off any time soon, so I still have time to figure it out, but I know I want it to be fancy.

I thought that originally but the older I got (28 years old now) the more I realised it didn't matter how fancy it was. What mattered was marrying the man I love, witnessed by my family and friends :)

I got married last Halloween XD Let me tell you this, no matter how long you are engaged (we were for 3 years), once you start planning it no one warns you about how much everything costs. We paid for everything ourselves. It's insane at times just how much people/companies can get away with charging just for a one day event. Especially fancy, that jacks up the price. You two will be the biggest ones caring about all the fine details. Just enjoy your life, save up and have fun with it. It's a stressful time but don't let that stand in the way of you two enjoying the moment. Best of luck :)

We have managed to get a friend of ours to be the photographer for less than half the price of others we've seen, some friends of our has bought our wedding rings and my Mum has paid for my dress and shoes so we have been managing to save where we can.

That would certainly make favorites in his mind. ^_^ My little piggies are the same. Because I feed them and pet them but rarely take them to the vet's due to work they run a mile at the sight of my dad who does. But they'll plead with me for food.

Because I had a guinea pig when I was younger I am used to handling small animals but my fiance has only ever had cats and dogs he is worried about picking Thumper up which makes me the bad guy.

That's awesome :) We also saved on photography by using two professional photographer friends too :) We barted for what they wanted and we ended up with fantastic photos :D Other places tried charging me thousands and I was like...nope! Also saved on the food by buying the ingredients and a couple relatives cooked it up for us all. Was tasty and no issues there. We tried to save where we could.

We are having the ceremony and the reception in the same hotel which is saving us money but they provide the catering which is something we need to try and change as the meals they offer don't sound nice (or at least not to me but I'm a fussy eater!) They are also providing the DJ which helps. We met our photographer there today so he could have a look around and he took a few pictures in several places to show us what types of pictures he could do.
