Thank you. I'm okay. Getting better after being ill for a bit. I have to admit, the Quest-a-thon was a mixed bag for me. I know it helped clear out a few items from the site and balance the shop prices. It also got us some lovely prizes but by the end I was just tired of questing. So I'm taking a break from Subeta. I'm popping on to feed my pet and the like but I'm not going to be about much for a bit as I need a break. How did you find it?

My son was stationed on Oahu until last August, but my preference for a visit was the Big Island. I loved the eastern tip where the sun rises first for the United States. Nothing beats the raw nature found in Volcano National park either.

I've always wanted to visit Hawaii. It's on my bucket list but it will probably never happen because it would cost too much. I also want to visit Las Vegas, Memphis, La, San Francisco, New Orleans and Dallas.

I guessed? Yey! My HA does look like that come to think if it. I made it as an expression about the EU referendum that took place last month. I'm pro EU and want to stay. An opinion that is something of a surprise to those around me who only know me through work. Suddenly I'm something of a rebel. ^_- But I'll always be a European at heart. I'd love to see Hawaii some day. It always looks so beautiful in the pictures and has such a fascinating history. One day when I have the money I'll come and take a look a around. I hope you enjoy the city you're moving to.

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know you were from Europe. How is that transition going now? I imagine it's chaotic. I'm glad to hear you're interested in the history! I'm not native Hawaiian, but I grew up here and can't help caring about the culture, most visitors treat the islands like a resort and disregard the peoples who's home it is. May I ask about the symbolism in your avatar?

Anyone else playing Pokemon Go at this moment? I know it is still rolling out worldwide but I didn't know if anyone here was interested in it?

Oooh how exciting! Best of luck to you :) I've got friends stationed there but have yet to go myself. It's on my list though. I've heard that from other people who live there as well in regards to the tourists and lack of respect. I enjoy learning about the history and culture of each location I've traveled to no matter how old I get.

I understand what you mean. I have been pretty much doing just that since the 1st of this year. Trying to stay active for events and not miss out, but most days I just pop in quickly for the pets/shop but I try my hardest to reply each time I'm on. Most of the time I'm here once a day when in the past it used to be a few times daily. I know you've been busy with wrapping up your courses and work, I hope you can still find time to rest. Just know you will be missed but I know we'll always be here for you :)

Thank you. ^_^ I'm not sure about Pokemon Go. I'm interested and curious but I worry about the going to specific areas for Pokemon. Partly because I like to leave nature to the creatures that live in it and partly because I'm not sure how they will place the Pokemon. There was this cartoon I saw when the trailer came out. A guy was walking around when Pokemon Go informed him he was close to a rare Pokemon. He found it down a dark, dissused and unwelcoming alley. The question was should he go get it? The cartoon ended with him running from a rabid dog and shouting the words "Worth it!" as the screen showed the captured Pokemon. There are places near me where I don't really want to go. How sure are they that the Pokemon won't appear in those kinds of areas?

I understand your worry. We have the same places here. To be honest, I've only played it for a couple days now and haven't had an issue with that but I can see how it could become one. Most of the time I worry about trespassing but I've found pokemon on main roads, around my home and work and in places where people frequent. We went hiking earlier on a known trail and found a couple. The pokemon actually just randomly pop up on the screen wherever you go, so if I don't want to go down the dark alley then I would not go. It's the special PokeGo spots that are in central locations that I find it hard to get to sometimes (most of them are outside stores, churches, parks, schools) that I've found so far. I don't know if it's the same concept internationally but that is what I have seen thus far. It's been 100 degrees here or else I would go outside more lol

Hence why I'm keeping an eye on it. I'll wait and see what happens with it now that it's out in the market. That's normally where you'll find any issues that the game may encounter. I usually like to wait a few weeks for patches and the like to come out before I try things like that. Have you caught anything interesting? How long does it take to catch a Pokemon and do you get given a starter to catch them with?

I normally wait a couple weeks before I jump into any new game or see a movie but this was a special exception. Everyone I'm close to started on it and I had to help them, so I jumped into it. As for the game, most of the time it's fine unless the servers are overloaded and crash. It's gotten better for me in the last 24 hours so I'm sure they are working on it. They give you the usual starter items, pokeballs, tutorials and a couple cash shop type items to get you up and running. It doesn't take very long to catch a pokemon and is similar to their other games on their gameboys/DS systems. Sometimes it takes a couple pokeballs to catch a stubborn or high ranked pokemon. I just caught a Jigglypuff and Zubat today that I'm digging. I also found an Evie yesterday that I'm nerding out on lol
