It's nice to do it when all the Halloween candy is on sale too! ;D It was unfortunate I had to go to the pharmacy in town two days in a row and they had a LOT of stuff on sale... kiddo was with me both times so we picked out quite a bit. XD But, I stashed most of it away for those super crazy craving days.

I can't wait for Fireside either, ! Now that I understand the holidays and achievements better this year too. I did some stuff last year but man... I wonder if that pumpkin donating will be back or not? It's still in the list but when I tried to look up, it seems it's retired? Mostly I want to unlock the site theme. <3

Oh yeeeesss , I love going to a nice matinee! Especially this year with how warm it still is this fall. shakes fist I used to work at the theater and I do know it's terribly expensive but there's something so exciting about the vibe there. But, I'm like and haven't been in quite a while.

As for the gifts, we definitely just do candy/treats for the holidays except Christmas. And Easter we'll do stuff like sidewalk chalk and/or bubbles in my kiddo's basket. ;) One year he got a little kite even, always something for outside basically. XD This is going to be my first Thanksgiving home in YEARS, I am so excited! :D

When I was a kid my dream job was to work at the theater :D I love going to the movies. The popcorn, the big screen, the big sounds ❤ so much better than watching the same movie at home! My ex would always fall asleep at the movies. I hated that! It wasn't so much the sleeping as it was the snoring lmao! Nothing worse than having to sit there elbowing someone through a whole movie! My daughter and I are really looking forward to all of the new releases during the holiday season. There are going to be quite a few good ones. Doctor Strange is the first one we are going to see :D

Yes! Doctor Strange looks like it might be really good, they picked the perfect guy for it too. XD Was there a reason you didn't end up working at one ? It really was a GREAT job, I lucked out and they were hiring the summer before my senior year. I had tried Burger King before that but ugh, movie theater was the way to go. It was definitely one of the more fun jobs I had at that point in time and had more up sides than down sides for sure. I actually miss it sometimes. We used to be so excited for the newest movies on Friday nights, so we could all go stand in there and watch the previews for what other big movies were on the way, lol.

The pumpkin donating for Fantine? It's retired for now because it's only available in the fall during Fireside, but I'm like 99% sure they'll bring it back this year because they specifically mentioned holding on to extra pumpkins from the Morostide event.

And the site theme I think is from giving items to the Red Rreign, right? 1000 items... that's a lot! Although I already have all of the Fireside achievements except for being burned 100 times, I'm only at 47. So hopefully I can get that one finished this year.

Well at first our little theater was family owned, so impossible to get a job unless you were family. Then the city bought it and it was impossible to get a job unless you knew someone. Now it is part of a bigger franchise since it was bought by a theater company and I don't have the time to work at a job that wont pay enough to support me and my daughter. I am really looking forward to the movie. He is deff the best choice for the role! I ❤ him so much. Even when he was the bad guy in Star Trek lol.

Awww , that stinks you couldn't get in there before. shakes fist But yea, I didn't figure it'd be a viable job option now, it certainly wouldn't support me and my son either, lol. Still, it was fun while it lasted. Maybe one day far away when our kiddos are looking for jobs they can work at a theater. XD

Ok awesome , I was wondering if I should still be saving pumpkins or not because of that, phew! I knew it wasn't active now but I saw somewhere, it was a while ago, maybe 2013, people were asking why they couldn't donate to her during the event. I guess they had it retired during that one and then brought it back each year after that? Not sure. Either way, I will happily donate pumpkins! <3

Yeah they first did it in 2012 and then retired it for a while until last year. But it seems like they will be bringing it back again this year, so hold on to your pumpkins if you still have some.

I did't get hexed too much this year, maybe 10 to 15 times, but I didn't really keep track. Quite a few of the Morostide items were cheap, so I didn't mind buying some of the food and wearable items I didn't get from ToTing.

And now I get to sit for over an hour with a towel wrapped around me while I dye the bottom layer of my hair purple.

Its a dark purple, or at least it looks dark on my brown hair. I bought one of the Splat brand home kits, and opted to just use the dye (no bleaching beforehand). Saturday, I redid my peek-a-boo streaks that I had paid to have colored over a year ago, and so far they have turned out a lot nicer. Today, I decided I wanted to dye the bottom layer of my hair to have more purple showing than just the two tiny streaks. I don't know how long the color will last but I'm hoping it lasts for more than a few weeks.

, Splat is AWESOME, seriously. I use it for pink streaks and at one point a full head of pink hair. XD And it was really hard to cover up when I wanted to go back to just streaks. In fact, the last time I dyed them was quite a few months ago, and I've dyed blonde over them twice and you can still see hints of pink there. I love it! Lol, I just bought another box of it at the pharmacy the other day to put the streaks back in full force. :D Although I do usually use the bleach part first so I'm not sure if the purple will stick as long without it... it might! Good luck! (And omg I love DA! high fives )
