Ooh, fellow Horror fan. :) Have you seen Carnival of Souls? I love that one. And The Mummy with Boris Karloff, the film itself is a bit 'romance through the ages' but the scene where the Mummy first walks is amazing.

Well, that is fair enough. We're pretty lucky where I am in England, there still gardens with many properties and allotments, where you pay to use land for veg growing.

Way back in the day the city next to ours used to have communities gardens. My Grandpa had 2 gardens there (plus the smaller one in his backyard). We had fresh veggies all summer :D. They don't do that anymore. It is such a shame. Veggies are so much better when they are fresh from the garden.

All the lost communal spaces, it really is very sad.

Do they have anything like 'farmer's markets' near you - where farmers bring stuff, set up market stalls & sell direct to the public? Not quite home grown, but pretty fresh!

The sad part is that the space is still there! It is just all overgrown and neglected now :( Whoever was renting out the spaces quit doing it for some reason, and no one else kept it up.

I really want the beanbag (Cute Volcano Beanbag) and I don't even collect those. The cartoon short it came from was just so cute!

I'm definitely rooting for the Cubs because of Jon Lester. I was SO upset when the Sox traded him. But I love Tito and I wouldn't be upset seeing him win another ring, even if he is not longer the Red Sox manager.
