The oils can be nice and fairly easy to do. Preserving the flavours in the convenience of an oil for cooking or salads.

Sometimes it's worth trying a few looks to see what works.

I don't really do salads but they could be nice to cook things in. I'll probably dry most things because that's an easy way to keep them.

I'm glad that it's only a forum title for participation in the item drive. Reading the news post, I was about ready to go off on how I thought hoarding was being discouraged now but here's another event to reward it, until I saw that last bit.

Yeah, they do keep well as dried herbs/food stuffs! Make a nice coating/marinade for meat.

BBQ time! I think the drive is a useful way of curing the 'how low can they go' shop prices for some items! I'm a sucker for NPC lore, however, so I like the story.

Not much for battlers, though, I guess. We need an Angry Midwife attack! A Port Plunder Matron would be a tough cookie. xD

there's no real incentive to give more than one item unless you feel very invested in what color you want the cub to be, which doesn't matter at all to me.

I think it would be nice to have a trophy with how much you donated - like the snowball thrower one from the other year. I have a sense of 'contributing' still from that trophy!

at one point I thought they were against adding new trophies but we still occasionally get them. so it's confusing. there's nothing set for the summer ever. we usually get a battle event but there aren't guarantees

Personally, I think the trophies encourage participation - like I say, I am still a bit proud of the snowball one.

So, battling comes under the heading 'something probably happens in summer but we're not telling you what it is yet'!

that's how battling is. they hardly tell us anything, though they did mention being on board with a gelatin war in the near future so I expect that will happen. maybe it'll have something different in it, maybe it won't

You can always tell when it's gelatin season, the DC gets full! Fingers crossed there's enough to keep you busy for a bit.

Actually, DC is clearing out nicely after the hoard dump panic, we're down to about 19 thousand currently.

Super happy with the current gallery/shop limits, as predicted it worked out OK in the end.
