Hmm, just looking up some of the stats, Natasha doesn't seem like it's that much different (except for the special effect thing) and it's way more expensive. I think I'll just stick to things that I could reasonably obtain without necessarily paying for them. We'll see, but thanks again for the input. :)
well natasha is a fire blocker and fire is pretty common, though there are ways to get around blocking fire. for high tier weapons, most are pretty comparable, it's the defense that makes them different.
[edit] well healing is important to look at too. most good weapons have 10% heal, some have 9% heal. skull staff has 12% heal if you have your defense at least one point higher than your str.
That makes sense. I noticed that too when I was looking through some earlier, it seems like most of them in the same tier have a similar amount of icons, it's just the type that varies. I'll keep that in mind for later I guess.
the type of offensive icons doesn't usually matter, so it just boils down to defense and healing. blessings and curses are nice but they aren't consistent enough to rely on and most aren't make or break.
Okay, I feel like I understand a bit more now. Thanks for the help! I'll try to keep all of this in mind when I'm looking for new weapons in the future. ^^
so probably about as strong as Cluck is. Durka is about to hit t9 in a few days probably, Rurf soon after.
a bit stronger than Cluck then :P my pets would be stronger if I actually battled with them but I only like battling with Wuf
Haha, I only have the one pet that I battle with too though. Battle quest exp definitely helps training go a bit faster though, I've been trying to do them every day when I have the time.
BQ exp makes things go by much faster, especially at higher tiers. Wuf gets about one training session a day.
Yeah, I'm still able to get in quite a few training sessions a day at this point, but I know that the time per session goes up with their stats. I guess that's when stat boosters and BQ become extra important for training quicker, even if the boosters can be expensive.
yup exactly :p love when I get boosters but I don't buy them very often
What is even the best way to come across boosters without buying them? I know Shinwa's quests give some out, and there's the chance for a tome when turning in Mage Amulets. Is that about it?
you used to be able to restock a good number but with the change to apothecary, that's not worth trying. so yeah, quentin and shinwa.
Unlocked Spectrail High Score! Have one of the top 10 high scores in Spectrail!
Woo! :)
Yeah I wouldn't be able to get it this go around either, unless I can kill 2,000 jellies @.@
Fire blocking is pretty essential imo. I don't have a solid fire blocker for the high tier guys so I have been forced to get by with fire blocking scrolls or higher stats. I was between pbow and natasha, but pbow is so hard to find I'm just going to suck it up and buy natasha.
