Yeah, T9. There are some nice things, but it seems like T11-12 gets the next batch of nice things.

so I grew some peppers, dried them out, and ground them up into a powder (just two peppers so far) it smells very good and it will make a good spice.

t10 has a few very nice things, though they're pretty rare/expensive.

There are some good cheaper alternatives in the meantime though. I used to use Malerias Short Sword all the time until I bought the OHS. Intricate Energized Helmet has remained a staple in my battle set and is also T9. The trident of the banished one has always been in my main set since I first got it, but that one scales. The Unstable Sample Syringe is also very good, but that is a T10. The Malignant Rift Staff is a good weapon for T9. Gelatin slayer is a good alternative to Maniacal Essence, but both seem equally hard to find now.

The key I find is to have a variety of diverse weapons that you can change out for any challenger.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've actually got the Rift Staff and the Trident already. Maybe the Gelatin Slayer will become a bit more common once they bring the gelatins back?

Hmm, maybe. It depends on how close people are to the achievement and whether or not they will keep it for their own armory. I think my best bet for now is to get to at least 2500 defense and start using comet flash more often. I used to get by using the charged tower shield or with adding dark blockers to the rift staff and malice. Now I can get by in most situations with using PBB + skelly scroll or cobalt eternal scrolls when I need more dark block.

Why do people like to go for 10 wins anyway? Is it for exp or something? I know 5 wins gives you the special item drops.

Mostly for the exp on the higher opponents since it maximizes how much experience you can get for them. For some of them, it also unlocks achievements/achievement prizes. For the mad scientist, beating her 10 times gets you the achievement + the research cabinet that unlocks the mutant scientist. Beating the mutant scientist 5 times gets you

Haha, I did mine early today. I haven't even done my regular quests yet, that's unusual for me. :P

I usually do all my money making quests first and then move on to BQs. Sometimes it' s a real struggle to get them done because get tired of fighting the same guys over and over again. Levels 21-27 are the most tedious since they take the longest for me to beat =/

I'm only able to get through level 20 so far. But even if it's fighting the same ones all the time, I just sort of mindlessly click my way through. It doesn't bother me too much, but I can see how it would get tiring over time I guess. The exp makes it more worth it though.

Yeah the mindless clicking is just meh and I get bored. I motivate myself by getting to experience goals and then boosting at the end of it. It's nice to see the stats jump so quickly.

I'm kind of looking forward to the next event with battling or something in it. I think last time during the Faded Memories thing, my pet was only T6.

Oh yeah I am always excited for new battle events. It's especially nice when you do a boost that allows you to beat a special challenger you couldn't beat before
