Well that's pretty good! Nothing wrong with bouncing back easily, I'd honestly prefer that over being stuck for too long trying to recuperate.

I'm doing alright, about to make lunch and then go run some errands. Not much really planned for this weekend in general, although my brother and I will probably take our mom out to dinner or something for Mother's Day.

Just don't try to do too much too quickly :)

I'm good, glad it's Friday. Trying to finish up at work sometime soon so I can head out haha. Busy morning and then some of the undergrads in the lab I used to work in had presentations today so I went to see those. It was cool to see how much has happened in a year, especially since it was a new lab when I joined, and by the time I graduated, we had really only managed to lay some really good foundation for all the work that's been done since then.

Now I have a need to watch it D:

I bought 250 CSC with the sP I had in my shop, and theres a CW I want to sell that might help out (oddly enough, also from Murte). Now to see about how much its selling for in user shops/forums

My mom isn't letting me do much of anything! SHE GETS UPSET IF I TRY. IT IS BEAR MAMA TIME. Hopefully she'll let me take her to Captain America: Civil War this weekend.

And I'm... just doing questing? Bluh!

Movies are nice and quiet sitting time... while there's lots of cool fighting going on haha. Are there any TV shows you're watching while you're recuperating?

and Uggghhhh, sad stuff is bad enough normally, but at least then I can console myself that it isn't real. When it's based of actual events I have to stay away from the movies. Reading about it is pretty hard but I wouldn't wanna be totally ignorant of it. At the same time, a movie can be so much more intense with its scenes and music, no ty. D:

So glad you're recovering well so far! Hopefully that keeps up! And I hope you're happy with the final cup size. Were you having back pains before too? If so, those will hopefully be a thing of the past too! And going to the movies should be just fine! Woohoo! :D

and So glad you two are really into fantasy as well!!! <3 I just love how much possibility there is in that type of setting. I think that's why I like sci-fi so much as well. Technically all the fantasy stuff could be possible in the vastness of space. :o

I remember we watched parts of that movie in school for one of my history classes or something. I don't remember it a whole lot, but I do remember it being very sad. It's just terrible what some people will do to each other. :(

Yes, I love all of the stories and anything can happen types of scenarios, with magic or futuristic technology or whatever. Of course it's better when there are still rules regarding those things, but it's cool to be able to explore the "what ifs".

I'm also a fan of the sci-fi stuff set in the future. There are so many possibilities, and technology is so cool. Space/alternate universe stuff is awesome to think about because, as you said, anything is possible :)

I'm also a huge fan of the fantasy stuff set in a more medieval-esque time period, which is why I really liked John Marco's Tyrants and Kings series. The Inhumans series was good too, but I didn't connect to the characters as much. It's definitely a niche series though, kind of similar in some ways to Game of Thrones.

Yeah seriously though. Reading a news article or watching on the news would still keep you informed. Sitting through a whole 2 hour movie though... And the scene at the school...I had a box of tissues next to me the entire time

Yessss, Hitchhiker's is so fun to re-read. I actually started it because some one I knew was reading it and didn't like it. I guess she couldn't pick up on the humor? I dunno... XD She said it was dumb and I was curious so I started it and was like, "Omg this is hilarious!" And I just picked up Lost Stars, a Star Wars book. Only got a few pages in while kiddo was on the playground but already digging it.
