Jewelry is always nice :) I had a grandma that would always say "oh, I would just be happy with a birthstone necklace" acting all casual about it. Seems reasonable enough except for the fact that her birthstone was a diamond! We were always too cheap/broke to get it!

I tend to do a lot of stuff myself. My mum always wishes for something handmade - this year I kntted a warm house jacket for her.

A lot of my friends get "time" - meaning I'd either way take their kids so they can spend time alone or with their partner or I prepare a wedding/Birthday party for them

I think special people should get more time (with people they love)

As for the kids... they get the usual things - but then the two oldest are turingn 18 nextyear - so they both neeed a car sigh so this means the good old money...

As for here... I have a special thing I want to gift and it's not yet on the site

And then I'll do a lot of cookies, chocolates and gingerbread houses.

It's fun to have the jewellery be the main focus, you can stick with plain clothes, less wardrobe coordinating. I am all for easy clothes-planning. xD

I'll pass that info along to my hubby, I think he's mainly interested in it to see how they handled the aspects of WWI. He had one of the previous Battlefield games and played it for a bit then traded it in. I can't remember why he quit playing it. I've never been good at games like Battlefield or Call of Duty. I stick to games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Skyrim, or Borderlands; games that have characters I can get attached to.

At this time of year, the chill is setting in, so an assortment of cardigans and long skirts are my way forward! Still seeking a good, insulating, long petticoat.

My maximum gaming capacity is Animal Crossing. xD My other half was very into Mass Effect, Borderlands and Uncharted.

When watching along with Battlefield etc, I just spend my time shouting 'over there' - which I realise after he's shot again would be more helpful with a 'left' or 'right'...

No snow!!! I use to love when it snowed, but my car is terrible in the snow :( If it snows then I am stuck at home.

I play Animal Crossing too! I just bought a Gamecube a week ago so that I can play all my games again. I haven't played the first Animal Crossing for 3 years, but surprisingly no one moved out of my town. I have all of the AC games and a month ago I bought the Happy Homes Designer. I also play Uncharted, but I never finished the 3rd game and I'm waiting for the price to go down on the 4th game. My problem is that I have too many games that I enjoy playing and I don't easily switch between them. When I watch my husband play, I always point out the things he can loot that he misses. He thinks I jinx or curse him though whenever I tell him to not die in a game. One time he died at least three times after I told him not to die.

Luckily it was more rain than snow, and the forecast is more rain at the weekend. Well, it is the UK, we have to expect it. xD

Woo-hoo! I never had a Gamecube - though have now inherited one my brother was throwing out. But I have the Wii, DS and 3DS AC versions. My niece like to play too, though she thinks it's more funny to run around digging holes and burying things! Not so into the Home Designer one, though.

The Uncharted games, I really enjoyed all of them, though with the amount of cursing from my other half, you'd think they changed the difficulty at certain points... (nothing to do with him rushing in to places)

I had my brother's Gamecube for a number of years until my nephew got old enough to start playing some games on, then my brother took it back. I had thought about buying a used system at one of the local used video game stores, but they went out of business by the time I wanted to go look again. I haven't played the Wii AC version in quite a while or the DS version, so I wouldn't be surprised if some villagers moved. I need to update New Leaf, since it will now be compatible with amiibo. Happy Home Designer isn't too bad, I've only played it for about a week. My main focus in HHD is designing the businesses in town, then designing a few homes. It was slow to start out with, but it got better. I got the game on sale, I actually got the last package deal (game, amiibo reader, and an amiibo card) that Gamestop had, so I saved some money. I've cursed and restarted plenty of time's towards the end of Uncharted 1 and 2. I think I even did a rage quit at one point during the first game. The swarm of monsters was terrible and trying to save the guy was even worse in Uncharted 1.

I'm so glad it was really cute! I think I might want to take my kiddo to see it. We heard such terrible things about the Angry Birds movie but thought it was cute. Same with Minions. XD Maybe cause we keep expecting awful and they're ok. Lol, plus kiddo is 5 so he's easy to impress. ;p

Although not this weekend, is having a bday party for her kiddos and my kiddo and I are going to that. Weeee!!!

Man we're in a drought here and it is giving us allergies even when we normally don't have them. D: All this sinus crap. It gave my mom and kiddo ear infections too. shakes fist Hopefully we get some rain too. If my headache stays away long enough, totally gonna play games tonight! Found out that Diablo 3 announcement wasn't an expansion pack, just a character pack, so I went ahead and bought the other one they have out. ;D And playing some Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Lol.

We loved the Angry Birds movie! When I saw the first preview for it I thought for sure we were going to skip it, but I saw the second one and it looked really good. I am glad we saw it in the theater. We really liked all the Dispicable Me movies and the Minions movie. I am a sucker for kiddie movies. Especially Disney ❤

Back in the day we were always a Nintendo family, I wish we still had the NES and SNES, but I do have the original Gameboy (Kirby pinball, Tetris - I am rubbish, but nostalgia-fest!). However, we have a bit of a save-the-retro-games-consoles corner, original Playstation, Dreamcast, the Gamecube, original xbox... Maybe only a few games left for each, but it keeps family and friends amused.

Ah, rage quitting, I know it well. Whilst my other-half loves the Fallout franchise, New Vegas annoyed him enough to quit and sell the game! Fallout 4 got him back on side, though.

i voted and went to a Subeta-free sleepover that lasted days. It was like a bubble against the polling results. The world majority's core is scary.

never played the Gamecube version so I got hooked when the title resurfaced for the DS. my favorite character/ first bestie loves tapdancing and raspberry jam! The weed pulling though... I never bought new leaf even though it's worth the money plus they have a no weeds option now which works wonders for the sanity.
