About a week later I get on and write a reply... Ooo...Zelda sprites! I bought some fat quarters of some Zelda fabric to make a bag out of. Eventually I'll get to working on that.

I would love to have a long arm...but they are out of my price range. And know that there is a place that will do that for you. Right now I'm mostly going to do the stitch in the ditch method. And simple stuff. I'm also not working in 1.5" squares. The one I am working on is 8 inch which is including the quarter inch seam allowance. Next one is going to be a mixture. But still nothing that small. I have managed to get the rows sewn. Now I need to sew each row together to make my top. But I need the ironing board that is in the garage. I don't know where the key is and I don't know where it is in the garage and mom isn't being helpful.

it's a cw cat dress. there were a couple different shades, and it was in the 'body' layer (I COULD SWEAR I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP) :( i'm going to be Very Disappointed in myself, if i can't find the dress. i could have sworn i had it in grey :( it was short (above the knee) NOT the Token shop "cat dress" (and not the "romper" that i have on)

it was a cw. lol and i'm pretty sure, that the name did NOT have "cat" in the title. (I think)

I think shes had something going on in her life, shes a lovely person, I saw a message from her the other day, she has been off subeta for a bit but shes coming back, it was some sort of college hiccup, please dont be upset, I hope it gets sorted for you. ill try to find the thread,but basically she said about commissions shes got going on. well I already paid for that harness to be made, there is a limit to how much real life money i am willing to spend on this shit, especially since the other CWs ive attempted to release can not even get three people interested. i lost my job last week, i just do not have that kind of money to squander anymore

, heh. i can relate to that. lost my job, and lost internet connection (this was years ago) but i lost my first account here on subeta because i had no way to check in. (heh no cell phone at time)

then i got all excited, because i finally got disability and thought i was going to have money, but then my girl started college, and i've been helping her (paying her bills) for the last 5 years. and even though she's finally gotten a job, it's still not a job in "her field" and i still have to help. (hopefully, not as much)

but that's why i'm not doing any thing with cw's. and it's just because this was my birthday month, that i even had any extra to buy some of what i have lately. :)

well. i guess hold on to the harness, and hopefully you can do it for the spring. just make sure you've got it in a file, that you won't lose. (heh. like the witchy did)

heh, , omg if you're an artist, you're going to really be able to work out deals! hahahaaaa what are you studying? my daughter just graduated from university, in science. poor girl still can't find a job in her field. but at least she's found a part time job with a local drug store, working in the pharmacy. (that' close. better than a fast food joint)

there are so many people looking for work. :( it's really depressing.

I'm studying medical laboratory technology. Basically, lab again.

I work in one and it's really super routine. Same thing day in, day out. The pay makes me very happy though.

The thing is I don't actually want to start being an artist on here before I graduate. I might fail lol. And anyhow, forum graphics used to be my forte though not on this site. Drawing/ CW drawing I have to get used to. More importantly I'm scared of running into pika's problem, because there are already loads of CWs around and I reckon it's easy to come up with an idea that's already been done without even realising. Unless I can run everything past you lol

But, I reckon I should draw chibis and my own CW ideas. I've found that most of the populars are really simple designs. ? only because I've been spending way too much real life money on here this month!

ohhhhh! heh. my daughter was hoping to get into research (she actually had a paper published with her research teacher) I questioned her about the "same thing day after day" and she said, " I Want That Mom!" :D

and ooooohhh, you could do "chibi/pet" art here (starting out with yourself) and slowly expanding to sell, to give yourself a "creative outlet" and to see how people like the items. THEN you could start doing cw's IF you wanted and felt more confident. and you're right in the extent that you don't want to get to involved here, when you're still going to school (and hopefully have a social life) :D

and Most Definitely start out doing cw's for yourself. That's why does. she does "little" items that she draws herself (with her mouse!!) ack!! and you could hunt up some of the artist that have "streaming" to see how they do their art (i know that has that, and so does . i think) heh.

some times i don't necessarily remember correctly. :D

Cannot believe you draw CWs with a mouse! I might be able to draw a straight line and that's about it, haha!

everything i've every done virtually - or for like "art" on a computer has been done with a mouse, been doing it since i could work paint as a kid, so i'm not horrible at it, i just can't always perfect my lines, so i get alot of denials for my linework. I could never afford a drawing tablet, even my mac is broke down until i can afford to fix it x). So its def a challenge. But do-able if you've done it for years. LOL

yah , but it's frustrating at times, when what you see in your head, you can't get out on the computer. so what you do is AWEsome ;D
