hehe im glad its a good name! I really like CWs that have names that actually describe what the item is (there are some rough names out there and it makes it hard to search for existingg CW unless you already knows its name!) :D

Bright side...I HAVE A FOUR DAY WEEKEND NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!! That makes me happy. :D Gotta get stuff done around here. Need to get to work on a quilt I am making to send to (not gonna ping her even though she basically knows what I am doing and I did tell her a while ago to not expect it before the baby comes) springjoy for a baby gift. First thing I have ever sewn. Need to finish a few more pieces that I am doing embroidery on. That's what's holding me up since when I am really able to work on it, it is too dark to do embroidery. :/ And it's hand embroidery.

Mom and I went up to Patchwork Plus to sign me up for beginner quilting classes and she was going to pay for it as a birthday gift, but the class was full. T_T So I'm on the waitlist for the next time they have the class. So right now I can only rely on what little my mom knows (she only knows the tacking method with putting quilts together) and relying on youtube to finish it up. Also we bought more fabric...because we need more fabric like we need a hole in the head. :/ But all her civil war error reproduction fabric is stored in the back of the larger storage unit. So no access to it. And we bought basically that era reproduction fabric. Although I did buy some that fit into that stuff but it isn't that era even though it looks like it could be. But I only bought 10 fat quarters. She bought the rest of a bolt of one patterned fabric and I don't blame her. LOL. Then I bought a few fat eights or whatever they are called because it was pretty fabric that could go together for a pot holder. Because what else would you make with that little bit of fabric?

I don't even remember the last time I made a post this long. O.o

And if anyone manages to read this part here, if you quilt, and have any pointers on what I should be doing or checking out a certain tutorial, let me know! Thanks!

YEAH on the FOUR DAY WEEKEND!!! OMG SERIOUSLY??! you damn well deserve to have a WHOLE FRIGGAN WEEK OFF. WITH pay. ok ok. maybe that's going to far. but damn girl. he really needs to show you some "job appreciation"

OH MAN! A Quilt?! my grandmother used to make them. How COOL on the material. (lol and the new "hole in the head" hahahaaaaa I SO RELATE to THAT) :D

Well...we ended up having to train yet another person because the 62 year old that had been there for 6 months had to put in her notice because she had to move back to Chicago to take care of her 90-something (can't remember) mother even though her older sister lives 10 minutes away! She kept her house though...it's unfinished and she and her son had been working on it the past couple of years. I think her son and one of her daughters is living in it for the time being since she just moved back from california and he was in the process of moving out of his apartment because he had to leave there because he's moving for his job. But she misses here. She will move back here eventually.

I'm the only one with the flexible schedule at work. New girl can't work tuesdays. And the guy that works there only wants to work 2 days a week and only on wednesday and thursday because he works an 8 hour shift friday afternoon/evening, then two 16 hour shifts and therefore doesn't want to get up on a tuesday. It's like, you get off at 6 on a monday, you should be able to come in at noon on a tuesday!

So only me and manager on tuesdays. And of course right now manager and his wife are taking their insurance to court again because they need to take their youngest to a different children's hospital that is better than the one in Ohio they are already going to. They keep denying because a psychologist is saying it is a psychological problem and not a physical problem. When there are test results saying it is a physical problem but they've hit a stand still with the doctor they have there. And the place they want to take him now wants to admit the kid as a complicated patient instead of one that only needs one doctor. So as soon as they are allowed to go, they're off to up north again. So I'll probably work a 6 day week unless I still get a thursday off.
