Gaia was walking back when she hear Adrien "You know there are a lot more royal men in fairy tales! Prince Philip is one of my favorites. I do like Hercules but loooove General Li Shang. I grew up with muggle fairy tales so I know them by heart. Kristoff is a new-ish character and he is a lot of fun."

() "That is great! I learned to garden from both my grandmothers so I know how to garden in both worlds. We can start after breakfast if you like!"

() "I'm okay. Thank you. I just don't like them and I am okay with that." Gaia went back to looking through racks.

Adrien heard the names Gaia was telling him and nodded at her, "Thanks, Gaia, I'm gonna flip through these books and see what they look like right now. These muggle books are fascinating, thanks for bringing them down!" He grinned and pulled another book towards him, scanning the pages for the characters he was recommended.

He nodded "Sorry again." He went over and paid for the hat, then waved to Aria, Beth, Aderyn and Paddy as he left the Great Hall. He seemed to excel at making a mess of things.

"I can do quick fixes, color change for some of the gowns, and sewing, but big changes would have to go to the shop and brought back!" Gaia left and brought back a rack full of dresses and gowns. "I figured we could try on dresses and then create characters around our options."

() "Where are you going, Magnus?" Gaia grabbed her friend by the shoulder. "We need to find you some clothes!"

Millie placed her cookies and copy of the Brother Grimm on the table and greeted her friends. "Hi everyone. Sorry I'm a little late. I needed to study some Defense Against the Dark Arts before I did anything fun. I see I just missed Magnus though. I hope he is okay"

"I-I," he stammered, "I thought it'd be better if I left. I didn't mean ta mess things up an' all. Me Dad's offered to pop round ta Hogesmede an' 'elp... so I can give ya space and all. I know I mess everything up."

() "I will hurt you!" Gaia said to Magnus while bopping him in the shoulder. "I am looking at the guys clothes now!" Gaia glared at her friend and then laughed handing him a cookie and some tea.

() "You aren't late at all! We are just still setting up around."

Gaia realized she is having a difficult time getting to the good stuff in the guys racks. Too many students in her way.

"Oh good. I lost track of time in the library."

Millie turned to Magnus (). "You don't have to worry. Everyone goofs up and we all understand. Here, have some chocolate chunk cookies. It's my mom's recipe and chocolate is Swiss"

Aria watched everyone trying on clothes and getting very excited about the ball and felt herself being pulled into the feeling of overwhelming excitement. ()She wanted to follow Magnus and duck into her room to study or talk to Dax but didn't want to leave yet either.

()Aria looked at the cookies that Millie had just put down. "Are we supposed to bring cookies? Are those to share, if so can I have one?!" Aria shot out all three questions in quick succession. Upon realizing that she might have overstepped some courtesy bounds she looked away and blushed.

"Help yourself! I baked them last night. I love baking and I always make way too many on purpose so I can share them in public areas".

() Aria looked around to make sure nobody was really watching her as she reached out and took two cookies and quickly ate them. "Oh, my" she said with her mouth almost still too full to talk. After swallowing she looked at Millie, "These are the best cookies I have had in so long! Thank you!" Aria took three more and went back to her seat to slowly nibble them while watching everyone.

Aria had already picked out which two dresses were her favorites but she didn't want to decide just yet, not on an almost empty stomach. She grinned and looked down at the cookies and joyfully continued eating. "I love sweets!" she murmured to no one in particular and started doing a wiggly happy dance in her chair.

"You're welcome. And thank you. Help yourself to more. I have plenty more downstairs in the Hufflepuff common room. Assuming my fellow Hufflepuffs haven't descended upon them" she giggled.

An eyebrow rose and he said, "You ain't gonna try to turn me into a doll are ya?" He was confused. He thought he'd been dismissed. He naturally thought people didn't want to be around him. The look in Gaia's eyes where intense. Truth be told he was a little afraid of her--especially when she was so intense. So, he yielded, finding himself back with the others. He was looking on the floor though. He didn't move except to have things pushed into his hands. Why did people keep giving him food he wondered? Was he that thin? Or was it just girls confusing the hell out of him again?

Gaia handed some milk to Aria () "Want a magazine to browse? There are make up ideas and shoes as well!"

"A doll?" Gaia laughed "Magnus you will never be a doll! I am just putting options out here. I mean guys have to go change on the other side, but the good guy outfits go super fast. I remember Fade had some trouble last ball." ( )

Millie could see Magnus was upset so she backed off. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to overwhelm you. I thought cookies would make you feel better." Millie turned around and started looking for something to top off her Rapunzel costume

"Not upset..." he said, "Confused as hell." He looked from one girl to the next. "So, er... what am I doin' then?" He was mentally trying to review what happened so he could work out HOW it happened. Maybe he was just that thick.

"I'll give you a hint: just go with it. I'll leave you with Gaia so I can figure out the rest of my costume".

Millie started looking and found a flower crown that matched nicely with her dress and lovely necklace

"Ugh dresses" Sam groaned as she entered the room. Reading the bulletin about the theme of the ball she laughed "I'm afraid I'm more Calamity Jane than Fairy tale princess. Maybe I should go as Puss-in boots. Any evil queens that might have worn pants? Hunting outfit maybe?"

Magnus nodded. He saw Sam arrive and quickly hid the one item he'd settled on. He was very intent on having her see his ensemble for the first time when he picked her up at her common room door.
"'Llo Sam," he said. "What about Princess Jasmine from the Aladdin tale? Didn't she wear those silk pants that billow an' a crop top with a veil? Would that work? And they are from the desert."

Aderyn smiled as Millie made her way into the room, waving at the girl. Turning her attention back to Gaia, she nodded.

"It sounds great! Now I'm even more excited for the ball!"

She reached out as Millie set the cookies they'd baked down and tried one, making a noise of enjoyment.

"These are fantastic! I need the recipe for these! Dad would adore them."
