Grace tried to fix the bad layout one time on the select page but couldn't replicate the problem so she couldn't really do much.
I just refresh and deselect my things I think. But for someone who doesn't battle much, it would appear like it is broken.
I'll just have to wait and see how battling will be changing here on Subeta. Thanks for keeping us informed and answering our posts.

Hmm, gonna agree that the global stat cap seems iffy. The top prize should go out to the best battlers, not just whoever can go without bathroom breaks the longest. I thought we were moving away from that with the breaks that the last boss had? Especially since now there can be prizes for each tier and those people who put in the effort can win those instead.
Am very glad the opponent reset is way down the road, heh. And that I'm now on break from school and can work on wins with my 21 other pets(23 if I wanna train my two new ones, but I dunno, this is already pretty crazy xD).
I like most of the changes, but I am not in favor of a stat cap. What is the point of raising an awesome battle pet for event purposes when you get scaled to the same range of a much larger pool. I quite liked the system during the last plot in which seperate rewards were issued per tier.

A lot of this sounds interesting but the cap on the global bosses, like many have said, is something I'm gonna have to sit with. Right now it ruffles my feathers. I work hard on my pet and so does everyone else here, are we being penalized for that?
Soooooooo after this it isnt an achievement prize anymore? :D I love the changes btw! ^-^
My CW thread ❤️
I really like a lot of the things mentioned in the OP, but I have to concur with several of the posts here about disliking the idea of a lowered stat cap against global bosses.
After battling Kiyo in August, I was inspired to really start training my pet hard again after I stopped battling a few years ago. Recently I've spent hundreds of millions of sP (a lot to me) on boosters in preparation for the next global boss so I can earn my own Ancestral Unrest one day and (depending on what the cap is lowered to) being told I might not have needed to do that is a bit disheartening x_o That being said, I'm also not sure I would want the battlers who have been working hard on their pets for far longer than I have to be brought down to my level.
Perhaps this is something I'll need to see in action before I can get on board with it :P
i'm a filthy casual with a baby t5, so i am probably missing some context but i gotta say (depending on how it's handled) i'm?? not too bothered by something that keeps the global boss kicking around a little longer? i had a 12hr flight during the last bit of the summer plot, and i was Really Not Impressed to get home and find literally everything wrapped up while i sat around in the dark with someone's patellas in my kidneys. ofc, i'm a minority opinion and i was absent for battling kiyo and friends (and a few plots before that tbh, because hiatus), so i quite literally don't know what i'm talking about, shrug
as for everything else, well, i've got finals through next tuesday and then all the free time in the world to relearn physiology and see if i can't get ana and grillby to a place where i can see these changes in action. these are exciting times we live in, etc etc

echoing all the sentiments about a global cap feeling like a penalty for being dedicated to training. the cap needs to be on the bosses, if anything, not the players.
oh I never noticed that they're different because I only keep one pet fed usually. we can always ask her. I doubt she realizes it's different.
Can't hurt since BC is getting some coding love lately.
is now assigned to finishing up the scroll library and doing the multiple default weapon sets! We're happy to be getting so much programming from her lately! (Well, I'll be happy once I can actually play with these new features, anyway; school is burying me in work right now. I have 10 more exams, large projects, and assignments due in the next week. I'm free after the 18th, though, and will be joining in getting a bunch of this stuff done!)
Also, know that a global stat cap is something we plan to use sparingly; it won't be the new standard for global bosses. When it comes to those, both of us liked how Kiyo worked, with prizes for the top battlers in each tier.
Thank goodness, cause I think the way the kiyo battle went was really the right balance, and i think the level of participation and the happiness with it afterwards says others agree.
Yes, agreed, everyone was so pleasantly surprised by Kiyo. The figurine is such a great prize.
I will have to go back and re-read this when I'm not super tired, but I don't know how I feel about an unblockable curse. If it's like a half freeze, why not just be able to have the option to block like with all other weapon affected curses?
I also don't know about a global stat cap. I'm not fond of challengers like Kiyo that you just sit there hacking away at and dying. It's not a matter of strategy, it's a matter of who could hit the hardest for the longest. That doesn't feel like battling to me, just clicking away at the same buttons repeatedly.
