I've come across an odd one and I'm not sure if it's always an issue or not, as I never add these. I just added the new dog ornaments from the news post - selected the tree ornament option. For some reason none of the tree overlays added. I don't have a PIN and I allow cookies and all of that. I've had no issue with the clothing and other item info transferring correctly and these do show up with the view on tree preview, but the images are broken on the SL tree and when I check in to edit the item it doesn't have an ornament overlay location file in it.

When you add the ornament overlay you need to include the .png

When adding the individual ones at night for Melody I haven't even thought to try that. I have just automatically been doing it "by hand".

Yeah, I eventually figured that part out after many tries haha. But when I did the automatic add, it didn't put the file names in at all so I wasn't sure if that was normal for the ornaments (whereas for the clothing it pulls that file name) or not.

I think it's possible we just can't auto pull that information anyhow.

Yeah, I'm sure they never auto added like the wardrobe.

The big different over the years was in the past Subeta did not have an overlay image, and we had guess at what the name might be. Now its super simple, but we still have to manually add the ornament file name.

yeah, that was horrible! You can't imagine how many variations there are in possible item names. Even just a color for example, could be green, grn, gr, or g. And that's presuming there's no typo, could even end up being gren.

Oh, I 100000000% believe there's a ton of nonsensical variations on things. It's why I try to save my files in an organizational way that make sense because I hate how Subeta does it lol

I sort of feel like our continued begging/badgering of them helped move Subeta to a more standardized naming system. When they saw how easy it is for us when we have consistent notes, etc. I think they decided to try it too. At least, that is my story and I am sticking with it!

oh I have no doubt of it. Many suggestions they implemented came from stuff we did already that people suggested they do.

I didn't remember this myself, but I put a comment in the mass-add code to remind myself in case this came up: there was a reason a few years ago (before we moved the site) why we didn't collect ornament information during the mass-add process. I'm not sure that reason applies, so I put the code back in (but haven't tested it yet). Melody may release another ornament tonight and we can test it then.

I am more than happy to try it but since I have yet to have any luck with the wearable one working for me I have my doubts this one will.
