Subeta has started moving wearables from the head layer to the new hair layer. This is breaking our preview images. I can set up automation to catch items that have moved, but we can't do this using the fast cron, so it'll be a few days before we get caught up on all of the items that have changed. (And I suspect we'll have to do this a few times, because they're probably not done moving items yet.) If anyone complains about the broken preview images, let them know we're on it.

edit: We're caught up for now. They may change more items, though, in which case, we'll run the script again.

I think they've added a bunch more. At least a lot more are showing up in my wardrobe on that layer. There's only a few left in the head layer, so I'd suggest waiting a few days to see if those get moved too.

On another topic: seems that some links around here (I can't find them), seem to be directing people to the Old virus skin page. I added a link to the correct page at the top of that page, but was wondering if its possible to redirect that page to the right one?

: I put a redirect in, but it'll only work for browsers that have javascript enabled. For the browsers that don't have javascript enabled, I hid the old skins information so that people will be much more likely to notice your link.

I'll run the head-to-hair script again over the weekend. We'll probably have to do this a few more times.

Just following up: Moved over 10,000 (mostly custom) wearables from the 'head' layer to the new 'hair' layer this morning and already they've moved a few hundred more items, so we're still not caught up. I'll run this script in a couple of days.

There's some really good news that came out of this, which will mostly affect . I figured out that we can get the overlay information from the wardrobe and not just from the item hover. I'm going to be incredibly swamped with RL work this week (we just had midterms Friday and Saturday, so I'm now saddled with grading them!), but next weekend, I'm going to rewrite the mass-add scripts to grab clothing information from both sources.

Thank you so much for all of the hard work you're doing to make the scripts more intuitive.

We're on vacation for a little over a week starting Friday, so I'll have time. :) I hope the spring semester has been going well for you.

I think they've fully moved all of the hair into the correct layer on here. I'm seeing there's still some in the head layer on our end so I've done a little bit of manual moving but there's 132 pages currently in the head layer to sort through so I don't think it's practical to do it that way and it might be best to wait until we can run the script again.

I've been keeping an eye on this Items in Wrong Wardrobe Layer MEGATHREAD and nothing from there has been fixed yet. While I agree we should probably run the script again, I'm dreading dealing with individual items from that thread. Not sure if we should just run it right away and then again next week? I don't know how intensive the script is, can we run it regularly?

I'm doing good! I just got my first covid shot and had no side-effects. LOL so pain free that my guy is questioning if I got it at all! Just waiting for my second appointment when/if they ever get around to it.

Oh man, that is a lot of errors after they announced being done =/ I'm not sure on the script intensity either but hopefully whenever Osterizer has some downtime we can see what he says on that.

I had my first one a couple weeks ago and had some very mild symptoms myself, but they said that's normal for folks who've had covid and have antibodies.

speaking of, are you doing okay? I've heard a lot of stories of people who had it, recovered, but still had lingering issues. Some minor, some more serious. And your family?

So far I'm doing alright, I think I get tired a bit more quickly and my muscles wear down faster, but overall I'm okay. And I'm halfway vaccinated and it's looking like a lot of folks with long term symptoms see them clear up after vaccination so if that is the cause it'll hopefully be okay in a couple more weeks. And thankfully they're good, none of them got it still.

Yeah, I've heard that about the vaccine, hope it works for you.
