: Not any more. Bug's new script (that lets us update the prices on every item twice a day) gets prices only, and nothing else. I still have the old script laying around and we can dust that off and use it for catching updated item names and descriptions.

thanks for the response! I hadn't seen that mayla responded to her. I myself am on my phone because dying computer so I can't really jump on them either. I know it is not a life or death matter but it is something that can be easily forgotten if not taken care of :/

yep, my guy was trying to battle Nacho Muerte, not doing well though.

This is one of the things I hate about battle here. I couldn't beat him before, but I worked at training and improving, so now I can beat him 5 times with my best battler, but of course, they make it harder so the reward that used to be 5 wins is now 25 fucking wins. I'm pretty sure my battler cant' beat him 25 times and my second best can't even beat him once to help out. :(

I get wanting to make it more challenging for the people who could beat him 5 times last time, but why not keep the old prize at 5 and add new one at 25?

Real World issue: I was also spending time reading up on covid 19 trying to figure out if I should cancel my tabletop gaming session or if that would be overreacting. We're still considered safe here right now. We have not had any community transmission yet, all our cases are travel related. So for healthy people, its considered safe to visit with friends and other small groups. But I'm a very high risk category - I belong to 3 high risk groups. My gaming friend is also in a high risk group and so is his wife.

So far city services - libraries, community centers and such have been shut down. Grade schools are still open, but closing next week. Universities and colleges are closed. Sporting events and entertainment (ballet, opera, plays, etc) are all closed/postponed/pushed back starting dates, etc.

Three provinces so far may be experiencing community transmission, but not mine...yet. I'm going to talk to my friend, but I wanted to have a firmer idea of my own opinion first. But I just don't know.

I hate when they change them like that. I didn't realize it was obtainable beyond the 2016 time at 5 wins but if that was the case, it should've remained so and something else be given at 25. And like...if they were super worried about them devaluing for folks who beat him 5 times every year getting another one...just make it into the 5x achievement prize too or something =/

Also, with you and some of your players being in high risk categories, it's probably safer to cancel the game or hold it over Skype or some other video chat service. Even if you haven't had cases confirmed yet of community spread, it doesn't mean there aren't carriers out there - that's why they're advising so hard to avoid gatherings and to self-isolate if you're in a high risk category.

what prize is it you are talking about? There is a possibility I have an extra. I KNOW! It isn't the same as if blah blah. But hey, if you are willing tto let him earn it for you then why nt me? zBut I do agree with you on raising the stakes.

Please cancel your game. Don't put yourself at the tiniest bit of risk. Games are fun. Being social and seeing friends are fun things to do. But so is living!

Nah, it annoys me. Also I can't get beyond like 7 wins (9 with my 2 from last year) - he keeps using whatever on me that knocks out one weapon entirely for a couple rounds. I'm getting irritated.

IDK what your pets are at but if you are able to use a thunderball try that on the first time. even though you will probably be frozen if you can freeze him back he won't be able to freeze you for the next several rounds

I just hate the battling system here. From what I can tell there are strategies that work, but they are either long term (screwing around with stats) or a ton of work to figure out how to beat a single opponent. Then having to rework, buy new billion sP weapons, for the next big baddie. Nothing works on all, or even most opponents, so it ends up just being a slog fest because who the hell has time to work out what works in a very limited time with event baddies.
