so there is this topic in a private forum about how much our preview images for the viirus' suck. And you know how that makes me feel. jackasses :(

Anyway, I uploaded new ones for 2009 and am looking for other ones to update. in the meantime, I tried to make new animations for them HOWEVER my animation program made the edges all jiggedy jaggedy so I got rid of it. So now 2 of them have broken images for the animation and 2 of them just suck. and if you don't believe me I can name names that willo tell you so. or at least will make a topic in a private forum and talk about it.

so, IDK what to do? BIG HELP THAT I AM

I can work on this when I get home (2 more hours), but in the meantime if anyone wants to add the 2020 skins, you can do so here. I'll get it done tonight.

GIMP usually does a good job of creating animations. I'll try to get that done as well.

You know if someone has a real problem with anything on SubetaLodge, they should tell us. Complaining about it in a private forum is either just complaining for the sake of it, or being mean for lulz. It doesn't need to be taken seriously.

I've had plenty of people comment me about errors. I go fix it, thank them and move on. On very rare occasions I have to tell them its a Subeta problem and I can't change it, but I really do appreciate them letting me know.

Its not hard. Its not embarrassing for me - I mean sure I don't like it when I make mistakes, but it happens and I'd much rather fix it sooner than later.

I'm with Lypsyl - people who want to just go be cruel for fun times aren't worth the energy. For every one of them there's countless others who are kind and appreciative of all of the work done on SL. Ignore the few shitty folks and don't let them drag you down ❤️

just saw your posts... I don't mind when people tell me something needs corrected. EVen when it (most all of the time!) our fault. They don't realize our spelling errors are because of subeta's spelling errors or whatever. but when people want to be sneaky and snotty and try to make us a joke or embarrassment? that bothers me. I was not part of the group where the topic was until someone told me about it and told me to join. I will leave when everyting is updated. don't care for "friends" like that.

Yeah, it's definitely not worth seeing people like that and how they choose to behave. There's no reason for it at all. Even if they had a valid complaint, it goes out the window with how they acted - they could easily have contacted you privately and asked about updating the images.

and I told them that. I also linked them to the staff page. I had to calm down before I could respond to them at all :x

thank you. there is still one that is mixed up though. Under 2009 the last one listed as "virus" (classic) has the wrong animation

Probably a cache issue. When I went to look at the stuff after osterizer first posted, everything was fine. New images for the love bug virus, the proper animation for the virus virus and everything seemed fine.

Then I went back to look after Georgie posting, thinking that the virus classic animation was the correct one...and all of a sudden, it was wrong again, as was the love bug virus.

Then I reloaded the page and all the new stuff was back in place.

I changed all the static images yesterday so really they shouldn't have any cache issues. But hard refresh, etc. does not fix the animation.

Heads-up. The new Hustler stickers includes one called "Scribble Galatic Blob Sticker" -- I've entered it as-is, but when they correct it, we'll need to fix it on SubetaLodge.
