This is going to be fun!! I just been play with the new item directory page. Searched for all toys. There are 3058...when I do a search on ours I get: Viewing 1 - 25 of 3118.

So I knew there were problems. I've been checking out the toys because of my toy gallery, but I've barely scratched the surface and found several mistakes already. This just confirms what I already knew. I'll be going page by page using both my screens (so happy I have 2 screens for this).

Sorry I am currently not really able to help....still just on my iPad I’d about anyone else but I find it difficult to do much on this thing. Speaking of, could you please upload the images for the new subeautique linees to go on the sbtq page?

I'm sorry you're feeling bad - but there is no shame in needing help, no matter what our culture tries to teach us! It really sucks you're in a situation you don't want to be in and you have to wait so long. I hope you can get in to see someone sooner than expected.

no automation possible as far as I can see. The items are in our database, but they aren't tagged as toys. Some are items that we didn't notice where toys - like combo wearable/toy, for example. Others are items we tagged as toys because they are the same as other items that were toys - like the , which Subeta says is a toy, but the purple, yellow and green ones, Subeta says are NOT toys - but the blue one is also a toy. We had all 5 items tagged as toys. Then there are things that were toys but aren't any more because they were changed recently - or the other way around. I started going through the item directory yesterday, only did about the first 150 and changed several items already. Added some missing toys, but also removed some.

But really, this is fun for me! I've been itching to get this done and now I have the means to actually do it. To date I've been having to find items haphazardly - regularly check my inventory to find items that are toys we missed. And as I added items to my gallery based on the SubetaLodge checklist, checking to make sure they were actually toys on Subeta. So I've already had to make lots of fixes. Now I can actually do it systematically! I'm excited about this!!!

Don't at all be embarrassed because of that - do whatever you need to do to get yourself taken care of. I'm sorry you're in that position (I'm sure it's not fun at all), but I'm glad you're somewhere that you can be monitored and taken care of until you can get in to see some one hugs

Who knows....but once I've gone through the list I'm going to make a thread with all of them. There are too many to put in an existing thread - like make this wearable/playable etc, or item inconsistencies. It will be easier for us to track if I keep them all together.

LOL I was tearing my hair out before they changed the item directory, now its smooth sailing :D

That makes sense. Being able to check the categories is a very nice new feature of the directory.

Just letting you know I have been working on this.

Why it's taken so long:

It turns out this is a lot more complicated than I imagined for two reasons. One is that the checklist features all are keyed to the items id number, and since skins aren't items (and don't have ID numbers!), we'd have to do a pretty big rewrite of the checklist code -- and I'm worried about accidentally breaking something else in the process. The other reason is that the only place where the Pandemic skins appear on SubetaLodge is inside the CMS, and the CMS doesn't give regular users the ability to update records in the database. They can display information, but they can't update it, and so anything they tried to check off inside a CMS page wouldn't 'stick'.

What we can do:

Instead of using the checklist feature (which is deeply integrated into SubetaLodge), we can use the Personal User Notes feature that we just added in October to let people keep track of viruses. It's not quite as pretty, but it's also not dependent on item numbers in the way the checklists are.

We'll STILL have to move all the skin information into the database and out of the CMS, but we can do this.

Here are two preview pages. They should be working, but do not yet display all of the skins. (I just moved a few over for testing.)

Now that we've got the Personal User Notes set up to not require an item number, we can add notes to things like Subeautique Lines -- you can view that at this page, which is already up and running for users.

If the preview pages look okay to everyone, then all we have to do is finish moving the rest of the skins over to the database. I'll have the Pandemic skins done tonight (maybe in time for Pandemic to start?!), and can get the other seasons moved over the weekend.

Oh my god. You are seriously amazing. I completely understand why a checklist is difficult/potentially not possible without major rewrites - just being able to add a note is such a helpful improvement. I always forget which ones I need and this would easily let me put in notes for that. Same of the 'Tique lines, since now I can give myself a quick note of just which parts I need.
