Among other simple solutions! Firefox also has a "reader view" on some pages, not quite as ugly as completely removing the page style. Not currently using any other browser, so I don't know details, but I'm sure other browsers also have solutions. There's also the almighty google option.

: I do have a spiteful idea for the rest of the evening if you want to go there: I could put a div in the header with pages and pages and pages of garbage text, and style it as hidden. For people who disabled the stylesheet today, they'll have to scroll waaay down to find the site. Put another div in the footer to do the same thing -- that way, they can't just go straight to the bottom of the page either.

We had a snow day here two Mondays ago, and because of that I postponed a scheduled midterm until Wednesday. Hey -- you get a snow day, and you get two extra days to study. One of my students still complained because he claims to "focus better on Mondays than Wednesdays, so moving the test is going to hurt my grade." See? It's my fault it snowed!
