omg yes. I tried doing a playthrough with a dwarven noble. I still haven't finished that playthrough. I sort of lose steam when I get to the fade quest... after all the deep roads in the beginning. Then the thought creeps in that I have to do the deep roads again, and I just... slides that playthrough into the closet of 'i tried but probably wont ever finish'

Thats what I am wondering. I wonder if maybe there will be a letter or marker from the warden, because of what they are up too. There are so many things that could happen story wise with this DLC that I am super stoked for it to get here already. impatient with all things DA

Very true. I had similar feelings about my Hawke in some places too (like I had one that wasn't friends with Varric and it changed nothing at all...). And the yelling about the Grey Wardens got to me too. I always put Carver with the Wardens. Don't know why, but I do. And, as much as I'd love to see my warden again (even if she was different than I originally planned her out to be), there is the whole voice thing assuming your warden is living. XD I think the best I could hope for is a scene with the warden and their LI getting reunited at the end of the DLC or something, but I know even that is super unlikely. So, maybe another letter. XD That would be nice.

I think I got about to that point with mine too. I really need to be better about finishing playthroughs. I'm working on an Amell right now. She's probably the closest thing to my canon warden. (Though... I have two... One is a Cousland... Both romanced Alistair).

Welcome! Origins was the only place where I really had trouble with the Deep Roads, but The Fade is ten times worse imo. Skip the Fade for DA:O mod is a blessing. While creepy The Fade in DA:I wasn't so bad for me, maybe because it was more linear? I hope Sigrun makes an appearance. We need more love for The Awakening ladies. I haven't bought JoH because I'm still a bit bitter tbh :x

Yes that's true, should have mentioned that. I was just so excited that I didn't have to wait over a month and blacklist the shit out of everything before I could get in on my PS4. I agree with you on no Warden. I mean why would they send them(if they are alive) "out west" beyond the Inquisitions reach otherwise. I would kill to see my Wardens again, but that's probably not going to happen.

omg yes~ Sigrun love. <3 I agree with the Fade being more linear in DA:I. That was why I liked it. I wasn't too wild about all the spiders, BUT they weren't as bad in previous games. They would always scare the crap out of me in other games. They just would sneak right up on you.

YES~ I would have to second all those faves. Nathaniel grew on me all through Awakening. I really wasn't too big on him in the beginning, especially since my warden was a Cousland... and with her past I wasn't sure. But like I said he grew on me. ❤️

Cousland was my main playthrough (I romanced Alistair as well). I think I may either do Amell or Mahariel (as I have a soft spot for all things elvish and have yet to do an elven playthrough).

I was going to mention the voice thing as well. I really miss the way things were done in DAO just because since the Warden wasn't voiced, whatever option you picked was exactly what they supposedly said. Now it's like "oh this dialogue option seems innocuous enough..." [picks it] [character says something super dreadful and NOT WHAT YOU MEANT AT ALL] It also gave the Warden the chance to have a bigger personality, as opposed to diplomatic/humorous/aggressive. I would love for a reunion, but there's still the chance that: Alistair is stuck in the Fade, Morrigan has run off with Kieran (or else your Warden wouldn't be alive), Leliana is busy being Divine, and if they romanced Zevran then they're already with him xD

Y'know, I think it would've made a little more sense if Carver or Bethany was the Warden link in DAI? That would've been an excellent way to tie Hawke in, too, because of course Hawke would come to the Inquisition's aid if their younger sibling was at risk. Other things would've had to change, of course, but [shrugs] I think I would've liked their inclusion more than Stroud's (a character I'm pretty sure no one felt any qualms about leaving in the Fade) since I know a lot of people have Alistair as king.

Ahh I would love to see Sigrun come back! I loved her so much and continue to be bitter about the fact that she's only been in Awakening thus far.

I was the same way with him. XD But, he definitely grew on me. And he's one of the few characters that I'd love to see come back or as a companion again (even though I know it will probably never really happen). I was worried initially too, with my main playthrough being a Cousland that they might hate each other's guts, but I came up with this whole backstory about them being childhood friends. (Yay headcanons!) Elven playthroughs are totally worth it (and lots of fun). <3 The city elf origin story is pretty brutal though. o.o

It totally would have if they'd been in the Wardens. o.o I mean, they were with Stroud (and/or Alistair if he hung out with the Wardens). And yeah, that would have made it a lot harder. (Personally, I want to know what in the world Stroud is doing if Alistair stays with the wardens... I guess he just dies). o.o And yep. I leave Stroud every time. Poor guy. XD

XD My favorite one is probably one related to one of my Couslands that didn't romance anyone in DA:O, I had a story going about her and Nathaniel being childhood friends, him getting sent off to the Free Marches against his will, his father trying to get her to marry his brother, and the two of them getting reunited through the events of Awakenings (and him grappling with the fact the she killed his father and was justified in doing so). I actually need to get a pet dedicated to her. ;w; (Her name is Lylie).

You should get a pet then! I need to get one for my Hawke and Trevelyan, but that means I need to buy pet slots. Arrilia is for my Cousland. I need to work on her profile and such. Been working on the other pets before her.

Do you have plans on what you'll get for the Cousland pet? :o I have all my stories, personalities, such planned out for my pets. They were all Original Characters from ages ago. Except Yinepu (Anubis), .Fenrisulfr (Fenrir), and .FenHarel. I love FenHarel a lot. One of my favorite Elvhen deities. ❤️ Then Anubis and Fenrir are some of my favorite deities from mythology (I want one for Quetzalcoatl... but that'll have to wait). My current favorite/finished playthroughs, DA:O is Arrilia Cousland, DA2 is Ethen Hawke, and DA:I is Ashtyn Trevelyan.

I just made an irion for Lylie. I'm not sure if she'll stay one though. I'll probably decide on a permanent species/color once I flesh out her personality more. :3 For my other Cousland, I'm thinking she might end up an antlephore since .Alistair. is a neela. :3

(Plus my OC's like Amell, Trevelyan, Adaar, Cadash, Lavellan, Efa (Lavellan), Inness (Trev), Amrynn (Hawke), and now Lylie (one of the Couslands)). XD I need to find a decent name for my Cousland playthrough that is more or less my actual canon playthrough.

Also if we are sharing DA pets hope no one minds if I chime in. The Iron Bull, FenHarel, Ash(my canon Warden), Lucius(my canon Hawke), and Zevran.(I missed when his name without a period cleared :c). I also own several names for my Inquisitors, I just can't decide on who I want to be my canon Inquisitor.

I'm still tempted to swap Trevelyan and Amrynn's names (since I have Trevelyan as a noktoa and Amrynn (Hawke) as a legica. If I switched them they'd be closer to their family crests). XD

I love Sigrun. She is my favorite dwarf (next to varric. I adore Varric a lot. ❤️ ) I just hate the heart attacks i would get from their surprise attacks. The worst were the giant ones (like the bigger than the average giant spiders)

I was inactive for the longest time. I lost a lot of my good pet names because of that (and my username at the time, Vampire... but I got back my first username on this website cause of a banned user. xD ). Though luckily I remembered my password. I can't imagine losing these babies. These pets are a lot of my first original characters, that I created so my best friend and I could build stories and worlds together.

Though I am jealous of all your and Heather's tribute pets. They are so pretty. <3 You should switch them then! If it feels right do it. :D

I am thinking about making my Hawke character a Storm Montre when I get a pet slot. He was a Force Elemental mage, with a pit of arcane and specializing in electricity. (also he was aggressive and an ass... i don't know why i like him so much. XD ) Still need to decide on my Trevelyan. HM. So many choices!

:o Those are gorgeous! I went ahead and made Trevelyan (soon to be Amrynn) galactic, since my Hawke was a force mage too. XD And I feel like galactic is a good fit for that. And, I think Amrynn (soon to be Trevelyan) will stay dark matter... At least for the moment (until I decide which of my boys is going to be my main Trevelyan).

At least the spiders in DA:I don't do that to me. The bears in the Hinterlands on the other hand. Every time I am too low a level they sneak up on me and then I have to run screaming. and yes I sadly screech as my little inquisitor tries escaping.

yes~ I agree with galactic being good for force mages. I love being a force mage. Its one of my favorite classes. I have too much fun with those spells. (I also enjoyed arcane warrior mage class in awakening).

I think I might make my Trevelyan into a Glacier Neela. She was a ice element necromancer mage. I think that would fit her pet. adds everything to wishlist Why does everything have to cost CSC that I don't have. fist shake at heavens
