My brother is the same. When he rages because he loses, he punches or throw his stuff. It's better to leave it alone and come back later .. jfc.

Oh! I don't like studying history, but I love it .. as like valid knowledge. What career are you aiming for?

I'm not much of a Whovian :c

Mine do that too. I think one threw one of their xboxes at the wall... Geniuses.

XD I'm a total history nerd. Right now I'd love to work at a national park in one of the museums. Or on a Civil War or Revolutionary War battle ground. I could also see myself traveling for a bit and using my Geography degree (and GIS certificate) to do consulting work (GIS is a spatial analysis tool which has a bunch of applications from businesses and site suitability analysis stuff to mapping disease outbreaks and predicting patterns) on the side for a few years. :3

I understand that. XD I'm at the point with it that I watch it and enjoy it, but I'm nowhere near as into it as my friends are.

What even ??? I understand a controler, but the whole XBOX? Damn lol.

Oh man, it seems great and interesting to study. I had History one semester ago and I barely passed. I'm not good to put my knowledge on paper tbh. However if you ask me to explain and remember stuff? No problem. I did a great job about Constantine.

I don't watch much TV rn :c

I know, right? XD

I'm weird with History classes, I either do really well or super sucky in them. I have to be interested in the subject to really retain the information. XD I'm fairly good at writing about stuff that I've learned, though I usually have to plan my papers out ahead of time (I really like one of my history professors. He gives us 4 prompts, we pick two to prepare to write on, he throws out one the day of the test, and we can write on any of the 3 left). And he pretty much just wants anything/everything we remember about one of the prompts.

I don't really either. What little I do watch tends to be on Netflix. XD

Like wtf son. Calm down yo. Chill ??

Amazing ;____; Tbh, most of my exams were flops. But a research? I'M GOING TO ACE IT! I spent soo much time working on it. I guess you know what I mean.

I don't pay for TV. I do have cable but .. most of my shows aren't displayed on any of the channels that we have.

Yeah. Ugh. They're ridiculous. XD

I completely get that. I don't do the whole standardized testing thing well, so my grades on that type of test (and any sort of math test) usually come back average or below average. XD But give me a research paper or an essay to write and I can ace it. XD My problem when it comes to writing is I'm a procrastinator, so it gets put off to the last minute. And while my arguments in my essay/paper are usually well written and very logical I usually lack the evidence I need (since I did the minimum amount of research to start writing and I'm running out of time). XD Depending on the teacher I usually make a B+ to an A on written stuff.

I don't either. I have cable while I'm home (and I watch really awful daytime TV while I'm home). XD Up at college I tend to use my mom's Amazon Prime and Netflix accounts, but I don't watch much on there... I do a lot more internet instead. XD (And Youtube. I'll binge watch Dragon Age fan theory videos). XD

My mother is the same. She gets easily pissed off and I'm like "mom, let me - don - don't break it. holy shit nvm".

Oh maths. No just no. I'm good with test I think? Well as a scholarship student, I don't have a choice. There are certain courses where I'm better, but I do mostly very well. I prefer research tho! Interviws, visiting a place and write an essay about it. That's my gig. I simply like to apply what I learned instead of pre-made boring question. I'm not really a procrastinator when it comes to school. However, I see what you mean. A lot of students are doing the same, but I do not wish to have the unecessary stress :c

I simply have cable for my mother I think. I only watch TV is there a good movie on during the weekend, to check the weather of the news. There is simply nothing worth it xD

I usually run for the hills when anyone in my family gets pissy. XD My brothers throw things and my mom is loud. (We all know when she's upset... She stomps and yells at people).

Math = the only high school class I ever failed. That's good though! Dain is really good at the whole testing thing. I probably don't do quite as well because there's a really fine line between studying too much and not enough for me... And too much studying actually makes me do way worse (I over think and confuse things instead of trusting my gut which is right 90% of the time). But yes! I love my research papers (especially if I get to make maps for them... There's the geography major in me). XD Procrastination is a good habit not to have! c: It's definitely stressful. I need to convince myself that researching isn't as much work as writing and to knock that part out early. The writing part I can do last minute no problem.

XD That's a good mindset! I when I have the TV on, it's usually a background thing for me. Like, I'll have the news or some awful TV show on in the background while I'm doing laundry/cleaning/whatever else. XD

Same here. Had to do the same level twice, even if it was the easiest one. I .. don't really study. I study psychology because HELLO THEORY and other courses that require memory. Otherwise, I look at it twice and we call it a day. Like you, if I study too much, I'll be confused and dig my own grave (It happened with history. 27% during the test - It killed me). I learned to go "yolo" during my test and it was such a freaking good move xD I never failed since I learned the yolo way and relax during a test. Dude. Researching is a lot of work. Especially when the teachers require that it comes for THEIR websites or in only three books collection. (feck you history course)

I used to do the same .. but now I'm more listening to music while doing chores.

nods I follow the same philosophy with studying for tests. XD I glance over my notes each night the week before, after that I play Dragon Age or something to get my mind off it. Not point in psyching myself out. I'll either know it or I won't, and studying obsessively will just make me do worse. I think I manages to get like a 15% on a math test after studying super hard for it. XD (Pretty sure I cried).

Nice! :3 I usually do that while I'm at school.

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES! Thank you! /super excited... I'm just going to go run in circles now until I calm down. <3

slinks from lurking mode on board and jumps into conversation I hope no one minds. Kind of excited I found a board in the forums, I talk Dragon Age. <3 big dragon age nerd

I had the same reaction about it being in the deep roads. But I also had the same reaction when I went into the Fade in DA:I... now that I conquered that I might as well do it in the deep roads. I am kind of curious about the new characters in it and what will happen in the DLC to add to the storyline. (and I am excited about it coming out on all consoles. I was put off the last time when Jaws of Hakkon came out on limited consoles. :C )

Welcome to the thread! (You've certainly found the place to be among Subeta's other Dragon Age Nerds). XD

I'm having mixed feelings about the whole Deep Roads thing. XD I really want to see my Warden again, and my hopes are pretty high, but I dunno if that'll happen. And I hope the Deep Roads are at least more entertaining and less dread-filled than they were in past games. XD here's to hoping

(Oh, and anyone who doesn't have all the games or DLC stuff yet, Origin is having a sale on DA, ME, and lots of other games... Plus there's still the free DA:I trial).

Thank you! <3 happy flail

I avoided the Deep Roads like the plague except when you can't avoid it and those were dreadful time. Though I will say the Fade was at least better I hated going into it in Origins. It was my least favorite Quest... and it was unavoidable quiet sob, so crossing fingers that its the same for the Deep Roads.

I forgot about the possibility of the warden showing up, or at least some mention. Though mine aren't too high, but it would be nice to see my warden again. Its been too long since I have seen/played her~ :D

You're welcome! XD I always get super excited when I meet other DA fans. <3

I did too! (Always made playing as a dwarf noble that much more difficult to get through for me). And yeah. I hated the Deep Roads in DA2. The Fade in DA:O and I weren't friends either. I get through it as quickly as possible. No extra points. No extra time there. I get the main quest done, and I leave. kicks the sloth demon It was much better in DA:I. (I actually almost enjoy it). XD I even like the side quests. So, yeah, I'm hoping the Deep Roads are as good this time around.

I'm hoping pretty hard. XD We'll see though, I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. Another letter from her or something would be nice. cx

To be fair, it's not coming out on all consoles. For Jaws of Hakkon it did, just on xbox consoles initially because of a deal EA had with Microsoft so they could get the content first. This new DLC (and any other future DLC) will no longer be coming out on Xbox 360 and PS3 :/ So hopefully no one on this thread plays exclusively on past gen consoles, or else no new DLC for you ;_;

I highly doubt we'll see our Warden ever again, because that's not an easy character to pull off. I think their plan was to put the Warden where Alistair/Loghain/Stroud was but time constraints and idk, the Warden is such a near and dear character to a lot of players, no Warden they put in the game would be our Warden. Like the Hawke in DAI was most certainly not my Hawke and I felt like she rubbed me the wrong way. I have a Hawke that was with Merrill and I have a Hawke that was a blood mage, yet Hawke in DAI talks only about how awful blood magic is and yells about Grey Wardens (despite the fact that Bethany/Carver can be one). Whatever character we've projected onto our Warden won't match up with whatever Bioware gives us and in general I think fans would be too disappointed. (Not to mention we wouldn't want it to be a tiny cameo but it would have to be, because there's still the fact of the matter that this is DLC and not everyone has a living Warden so the DLC can't hinge on such an important character being around)
