forgive me butting in but I think glacier Telenine and Tigrean might have been among some of the earliest glacier pets? I vaguely recall that :D (...also... holy shit... a decade... I feel old now)

I don't want any pet revamped but I really want a Storm and Harvest Lain. Hoping that Harvest may come this season but I really can't remember when the last new colour for a Lain was released. Been lots of new pets though.

The Paralix as a species could do with an overhaul, imo. Some of them, like Storm and Steamwork, look pretty good, but for the most part they're looking kinda dated.

Angelic Kerbubi would use a revamp. It just doesn't look like the other angelics.

The Mahar could still use a tidy-up, IMO.

Honestly I love the Glacier Feli as it is. It could be fuzzier but I like how sleek it is, even if the sleekness doesn't really come from the design.

I just realized it doesn't sit evenly.

The Common Experiment really could use it, imo. I saw it in the pound today and it startled me with how out of place it looked.

I know many people love these (me included) but the art looks outdated; I believe both were already like that when I joined and that's more than 11 1/2 years ago, lol

the shading looks a bit archaic compared to the smoother shading they have on site today.

and the kora species as a whole i think needs a slight overhaul. the shading on these are a bit off, but i picked the darkmatter specifically because i own one.

most of the wyllops look ok to me, but this one looks like it could use some fire rework and some smoother shading.

the pherrets as a whole look mostly outdated to me, same issues with the change in shading and in this particular case the style of art seems a little off to me compared to how everyone else is looking with their revamps.

i see the antlephore has already been nominated, but this one in particular needs a major revamp (a lot of other colors look ok to me). the front right leg (left to us) looks a little off and the shading isn't as smooth as in the reborn.

velosotors as a whole i think need to be redone. this one in particular doesn't look as beautiful as some of the other galactic pets, with the shading being a major issue to me. the pose also looks a little off/squished, but for the most part the galactic's pose is great. just looks a little stagnant.

The common recolor Aeanoid could use some attention, but the glade aeanoid just seems sad to me. As a pet that is basically a plant(?) this just looks really.. bare? It's leafy arms look really small and shriveled to me, and it doesn't actually take up much of the image, it feels like a lot of blank space. I'd love to see it revamped to be inline with more recent glade pets, over-the-top, huge blooming greenery, brimming with flora and fauna, the works.

I agree that the Antlephore needs updated in general, as the art style for many of its colors seem very outdated in comparison to, say, Reborn, Angelic, or Nostalgic Antlephore, but I wanted to call specific attention to its Galactic version.

It's even more outdated style-wise, with a pretty stiff pose and golden markings that feel deintegrated and unaffected by the rest of the body. And unlike newer Galactic pets, the celestial cloud around it is styled in such a way that it and the pet feel like they're flat and on the same plane, rather than something the pet is in. I just think that it has potential to be an extremely beautiful color for the Antlephore if it was updated to the newer style.

Also want to suggest a total update for pretty much every Lain color. The art is outdated in general, but specifically they all have the unifying trait of each individual feather be outlined in a thick black, which makes the overall design feel very busy, confusing, and hard to parse. I think the wings and feathers should be changed to be more similar to some of the Angelic pets. In these pets, black outlines are used to emphasize the different layers of feathers, but the feathers within those layers generally have a lighter colored outline and use this and shading to render the individual feathers. This allows for the level of detail that's more typical of updated artwork on the site while still giving the viewer a visual break within the image.

Ack! Someone mentioned the Reborn Demi.... nooooo! PLEASE. I have one. I love it. And yes, I remember from Before there was one. On that note, I also remember when they updated the Demi's look. To be honest, I loved the original version. But I also like the newer one. I just wish there was a version in every color. I noticed yesterday that there is no Hydrus Demi. O.o" These have both been around for How many years? Please. The color's not my favorite, but the pet is. We need a Hydrus version, please.

As for the Antlephore, I also remember when that was created. ....sigh Maybe I'm old (Not really..), but I really like the original version of them. I liked them so much I got two when they came out. But revamping colors for them like Galactic and Hydrus? All for it.

I see the point made on the Lain line art above. I do see how it would make them fluffier/ more feathery, but I like the emphasis on all the individual feathers. For me, it makes the overall character pop more.

Yes to all the Pherret colors getting a revamp. Nothing drastic mind you, just a few tweaks here and there for the colors and species as a whole.
