I really would like to see and update of the reborn lain- the shading just doesn't match the rest of the lains

Same with the chibi celinox. They aren't bad, but they just look old compared to the newer shaded pets:

Definitely the Angel Endeavor. I love this pet so much but it looks kinda flat and the lines are much thicker than the other Angel pets. I'm sure it hasn't been revamped since ever. Needs some better, more metallic shading like this badass: However, the white-gold only colour scheme is beautiful and I hope it doesn't change to add any random blues/purples/pinks.

The Darkmatter and Nightmare Paralixes have super weird poses. Darkmatter has this derpy stunned look and Nightmare looks like it's been squashed from above.

There are quite a few Hydrus pets with this more desaturated brown colour scheme, but the Antlephore definitely needs some edits. The chest fins make absolutely no sense, and the fin behind its front leg is missing its webbing!

The Yaherra has a really strange default pose which hides most of its anatomy, especially its beautiful tail. Chibi, Angel, Nightmare, and Spectrum/Blacklight have astronomically better poses.

I would love to see the Demi's redone I was never a fan of their designs ;v;

The Demi as a pet is fine, but man does the common pose and the base recolors need love.

The moment these are revamped, I'm getting all of them. No lies, Demi are my second favorite pets, and I'd love to own more, but their pose is terribly outdated

Anyway, the entire Clawsion species could use a general revamp. They're imo the most forgettable pet, which sucks because they could have been so great. Instead, they have insanely wonky proportions.

We DEFINITELY need revamps for the adorable Kanis!

The Storm and Sweetheart Kanis look so different by comparison! Maybe late Vesnali we can get revamps?

I'd really like to see the Angelic Darkonite revamped & Glacier Feli, but I really hope they don't add any colors on the darkonite. It's perfect how it is, I'd just like to see it updated. Same with the Glacier Feli.

I have to say that Harvester is pretty bad though...

Instead of listing all the pets I think need revamps or touchups, I'm just gonna focus on the Glacier Celinox and basic Celinox, because those are the ones I'm most interested in seeing revamped. I wanted to make my Celinox Glacier, but I decided it needs a revamp first.

I really like the design with the ice crystals. But it needs an anatomy fix (the back looks like it's sloped a little oddly) and just an overall art update.

I also considered just leaving my Celinox as she is now, but the basic Celinox colors also definitely need to be touched up. They just don't look as good as some of the newer colors, especially the Sweetheart, or newer pets.

In fact, I think most of the Celinox colors could use touchups.

Antlephore are my absolute favorite species on the site, but imo some of their colors could use touchups. Some people have mentioned galactic and hydrus and I agree, but I'd also argue that the Darkmatter Antlephore could use some tweaks

Compare it to recent darkmatter pets:

The shading is outdated and a lot duller in comparison, and it looks messier from a distance. Though I like the pose, it also needs some work since it appears more stiff and isn't as dynamic as the others.

Not to mention, darkmatter antlephore doesn't match how antlephore are drawn now, especially in the face and eyes:

Note how far away the eyes are from the muzzle, the proportions of facial features, and how the angle its drawn at makes it look flat. The bloodred antlephore's body also has a very similar pose, so putting the two next to each other really shows its age.

I'd love to see a revamp of the base antlephore in general as well because they look kind of outdated in comparison to other common pets, but I think that darkmatter has it worst.

I think some of the Swampies deserve a revamp. The Chibi one in particular.

old thread but the angelic darkonite is in SERIOUS need of a revamp! the poor lil baby looks so outdated compared to the other colours that it doesn't even really look like a darkonite anymore! i really love the angelic pets, but the angelic darkonite is just so silver and bleh compared to all the others who have this nice blue/lilac softness to them.

The Spectrum and Blacklight Charlies could use a revamp. They not only need a wing update like some of the other Charlies, but the mouth has always bothered me. Compare the old Spectrum Charlie:

You can tell its frowning. The current one still looks like its smiling despite it supposed to be frowning. The movement in the old one also looks less stiff, and it's easier to tell that its trying to pull the rainbow off its face.

The more recent Charlies have had better proportions (the Angelic revamp is perfect), so I hope a Spectrum/Blacklight Charlie revamp can recapture the spirit of the original!

The Spectrum Charlie isn't going to be revamped again, it was revamped really recently. I think it was last year :(

No, the Spectrum Charlie was revamped ages ago! I think it was revamped the year I joined the site, which was ten years ago. I remember Neocolours talking about it, and they stopped cataloguing Subeta pets years ago. Either way, its wings need to match the new Charlie standard! :)

The Spectrum Charlie was revamped from the one with the purple eyelids on 07/9/10 (link to news page).... although the basic colours were revamped after that on 05/17/16 with the more realistic looking wings
