I thought I'd cover it with the belt, and have that little hint of pants showing underneath :P Actually, the plumber had proper fitting jeans on, so no plumber's crack / builder's bottom ;)

Ideally they'll have the same duvet cover on sale still, but I think that's discontinued now, so I might try the fabric shop instead :)

You're going to get a load of use from that snake! :D

I think I would throw a fit if I ruined an expensive piece of fabric! Especially since it obv. was the patterns fault, not mine. 👼

How are you today? :) I got home from work and then groceryshopping.. so we will see how long my brain will work for me this afternoon/evening. :P A few hours of cataloguing and regestering cds...

True, new beds can take some getting used to. :) Been Amelia and Nigel approved yet? :P

yeah unfortunately lol Amelia has a bit of a harder time getting on it, but otherwise both seem okay with it.

lol and your HA is facing the wrong way to see the crack anyway :P good luck finding the right fabric/cover. I hope so :D lol I love the thing

I got annoyed enough with half of a duvet cover being messed up on a project! 😊 I'd be hopeless with really fancy fabric! ;) If I'd spent hours at work doing that, I think my brain would be mush! :P We had the plumber come to try and fix the taps today (hence the HA outfit :P), so that was quite a busy morning.... he's coming back in less than 2 weeks to spend a day redoing the taps & possibly some of the plumbing around it, so they should work properly after that :)

well, you get the illusion from the underpants :P They'd sold out of the duvet covers :K but I got half a metre of blue / white spotty fabric to use for the skirt, just in case I can't unpick the duvet cover from the messed up one laughs

nods it should be more than enough to make the skirt of that dress - and this time I'll make the waistline lower too, so it suits my shape better :P

hey its better than an upside down dress ;) your legs go in the arms and the dress opens at your chest. :P

At least Nigel shouldnt have any problems. I can see them both taking up most of the bed and you only getting a corner. :P

:nods: I have even been annoyed having to scrap a knit or crochet project.... since the yarn can get into a mess.. Sowing must be worse. Not as easy to fix things I imagine. Its awesome being able to make your own clothes etc tho. :D

nah, Amelia has the bottom wall and doesnt get in my way at all. Nigel just wakes me till I pet him, then he snuggles in my arm.

nods if you can unpick the stitches, then you can try again, but the vest top I was using just went in a hole when I tried unpicking it (as stretch stitches are a nightmare to unpick).... I think I might just do a zigzag stitch on the next one and see if that puts less stress on the fabric & doesn't make it split! ;)

thanks ;) I was stuck for inspiration, so most of this is the argo purple set :P t's the over the wig ;)

....computer seems to be slooooooooooow today for some weird reason - I think I'll have to run a virus scan later, and defrag it to see if that speeds things up :K

I'd never seen the flowers before, I knew what the wig was though. ugh I hate slow computers. I had to restart mine just now to get it to run faster.
