hehe well there's always tomorrow :P
why thank you :)
you forgot to ping paddy to your comment to her :P
Thanks for noticing. lol Hope that new bed you got works out well for you and your back. :) It did look like it would be really comfy to sleep in at least. ^_^

Sewing would cost a fortune if I bought the fabric from the shop each time - I got a duvet cover for 5 pounds that gave me about 4 metres of fabric.... that'd be about 6 pounds a metre in the fabric shop ;)
that's awesome! :D I never went to any concerts or anything like that :P
hehe challenge accepted :P goes to the wardrobe :D

I can imagine! I dont know of many stores around here that sells fabric either. o_O But there always seem to be good deals to be found on duvet covers. :)
Been lucky to have been to tons myself. :) I am ever so proud of my cool taste in music. :P
How did it work out dear? :)

the jury is still out lol it was hard to sleep on--getting used to a new bed takes time
the hair was a long shot laughs but I'm pleased it works! :D
There's three shops in town that sell fabric (one's usually got some good bargains, but the others are quite pricey), but I know of a couple of shops that sell cheaper duvet covers as well laughs It makes any mistakes a bit easier to handle, as you haven't messed up a massively expensive piece of fabric ;)

;) My day was going quite well until I fluffed up the sewing of the dress I was trying.... unpicking it meant the top of the dress ended up with a hole, and the skirt doesn't lie flat like it does in the picture.... (and if Mum says once more "that's the trouble with using patterns from websites rather than bought ones" I'll scream, as the bought pattern I used for the top is really out on sizing, and looks worse than this dress does! :P) How's about yours so far?

lol if I hear any screaming i shall know it was you then. -whacks your mum with a haddock- 😇 you could put a patch over the hole
eh in a lot of pain. My back is on strike i think
It'd look a bit weird I think.... but then the dress looks weird anyway - it's all kind of poofy in the skirt, which exaggerates my waist.... which is never a good thing :K The elastic I was sold was impossible to sew over, so I had to fudge the pattern to make that work, so it wasn't a good project to attempt :P
Awww :( hands you a packet of frozen peas

-pats- poor thing
thanks lol I think i need about 34245363756865763 packs of peas lmao
Mum reckons the dress isn't as bad as I think - plan B will be to get another t-shirt seeing as I can't unpick this one, and try adding the skirt a bit lower this time, rather than on the natural waist.... and of course using less fierce elastic ;)
calls the supermarket to see if they do bulk orders ;)

not a bad plan, espeically if the shirt is cheap, and you can always use the remaining fabric for another project.
haha do, i'm interested to see how much that'd cost :P
enlarging the picture on the blog proves that instead of the 3/4 inch elastic she typed up, she actually used 3/8 inch elastic.... no wonder if looks huge in comparison! kicks the blog writer
The shirt was 2.30 so about 4 dollars ;) They had plenty in there, so I can get another next time I'm heading that way :)
laughs they probably would just put the phone down assuming it was a prank call :P

haha that's a bit of a difference :P sounds great :D lmao yes, I think they would
also would explain why the comments on her blog say that everyone was struggling to find 3/4 inch clear elastic - I don't think they make clear elastic in that size :P
Love the HA today! :D takes a step back from the snake ;) :D

haha yeah if they dont make it, its hard to buy :P why thank you :D lol the snakey now belongs to me ^.^ love the plumber look :D
I'm going to have to get more fabric for the skirt part, as the duvet cover doesn't have quite enough width left on it now :K But maybe they'll have either cheap fabric, or another cheap duvet cover laughs
Awesome!! :D :D :D It definitely suits your HA :D
hehe I couldn't resist :P Private Outfit - check it out without the belt 😇
