I'm sure standing to cut fabric this morning and doing more errands has helped my back any lol. o.0 perhaps they want it to overlap? I know one of the tutorials I viewed had you sew the bias binding a little over the first one.

Any chance of something this afternoon that'd be more suitable for a happy back?

The weird thing is, you start by sewing it into a loop, then attach it.... all I can think is you're meant to ease it, but the instructions don't say that o.O

probly will try a nap soonish. perhaps a bath, but most likely the rest of the weekend will be less painful. o.0 weird. Maybe its like my instructions to make that back of the tank top... they sure didn't tell me anything.

hopefully your back eased up a bit squishes :)

Yeah, usually the instructions from that company's patterns are really detailed, so it seems odd for them to be so vague on how to get the pieces to match up o.O

I couldn't find anything - it came with a magazine, so I'll put a message on their facebook page and ask - it just seems really weird to be a different size when everything else I've seen for a bias binding 'facing' has the exact same measurement as the armhole o.O

I finished the polka dot bag - finally got it to behave, but what the pattern didn't point out, is that the zip across the top has to be pushed down into the bag to do up.... The zip is about 3 inches from the top of the bag, you then lose another inch of possible height of things to put in the bag, to let the zip do up.... which means my bottle of water doesn't fit in the pocket of the stupid thing, so it's useless for me sighs :K

[edit] Weird weather today.... the forecast said no chance of thunder for our area at all. Dad spotted the cloud just as it got really dark.... thankfully the thunder wasn't overhead, but it was less than a mile away and plenty loud enough- there was also thundersnow rather than rain, which was weird ;) :P

maybe they just do things differently? o.0 man that sucks :/ would your mum use it? that is a cool photo. My brother told me of thundersnow lol but it sounded so weird, so I bet it was an odd experience.

yeah, I'm hoping that someone can explain how it's meant to work, so I can unpick it and try again laughs It's one of my duvet cover creations, so if it needs scrapping it's not the end of the world, but the rest of it fits quite well, so ideally I want to get the arms finished!

Nah, she doesn't use bags like that :K The best she could suggest was "use it for something else" o.O

:D I've only ever seen thundersnow twice (the first time was during the winter), but it definitely was weird to see that sticking to the cars & road in late April!

I am back with a sprained ankle.. lol Leave it up to me to trip and twist my ankle while getting off the plane. :blushes: Other than that.. had a great time in Oslo and Denmark. Slightly zonked now. lol

We went to the most amazing Adam Lambert concert.. (not sure if you gals have heard of him). :P Loads relaxing and hanging out with the gals. A lil bit of shopping.

The weekend was filled with lectures from docs that are experts on my condition.. learned a lot.. buut man it was a lot to process. Everything was in danish as well.. so I had to pay more attention. Last night we had dinner with the danish organization. Today has mostly been travelling.. other than a short walk around town. :)

Hope you looovely ladies are doing well. :hugs:

I dunno to be honest - the staff in the fancy fabric shop aren't really that helpful (and don't seem that knowledgeable!) and the cheaper fabric shop staff don't tend to be hot on sewing clothing :K

It's a bit big to hang on the door, but I might see if I can use it for storing something :)

takes a few steps back from those pots that HA looks amazing! :D

sound like it was awesome, minus the sprain. I guess no walks this week? ask on a blog or something? or just go with it and sew the access on? storage is great. I have several bags I've used as storage before xD Why thank you lol thought they were like spirits or something. Didn't feel in the mood to change today?

awww at the sprained ankle :( Hopefully it'll not be too painful squishes The Adam Lambert concert sounded amazing! :D I wouldn't be able to follow a lecture in a different language laughs I'd be lost before they started, I think 😊

If I don't get a reply from the magazine, then I think I'll just see if I can get it to lie flat and get stitched on.... I might unpick the side seam a bit, so I can add the armhole facing on the front of the seam, with the thing lying flat - then it might not get caught up in the same way.... maybe ;)

More like I forgot to change the HA outfit earlier in the day, then the site was acting up in the evening so I couldn't 😊 ;)

I was not able to use my right foot at all... so painful during the night. So I went to see a doc. Sprained ankle ligament.. so I am gonna have to take it a bit easy. :)

:pokes above:

Danish and norwegian is similar in many ways, other than the fact that danish people sounds like they got something stuck in their throat when they speak. lol I can understand swedish well, too. :)

awww that's a shame :( Do you have to take any painkillers, or did the doc just say to not use it until it's healed?

hehe I love the description! ;) I struggle with some English accents (Liverpudlian is really hard to follow), let alone trying to follow another language, however similar it might be! 😊
