it still surprises me to see (and hear) so many tourists each year laughs Yep, I was bag making today - polka-dot with a burgundy lining :D I'll take photos of it later to share ;)
:P I'm not as adventurous as you :P .... or at least not as adventurous as Nigel ;)

hehe ooh lovely ha! your trousers match the bg nicely.
thanks! :D I wanted to use some of the Vesnali stuff, but I was stuck for ideas until I found the top lurking in my wardrobe - everything else I tried made the trousers look really weird :P

I doubt I'll get lucky with today's outfit in the same way though :P

hehe well, that saved some time trying to figure out the outfit :P
^ the bag :D
(see bag pic above :D)

RP Raven looks so pretty today! :D
Ohhhh, that bag looks fantastic! :D Good job on it! :D You have gotten quite skilled at making them. :D
We get a lot of tourists during the summer here as well. Cruiseships and whatnot that docks right in the city center. :)

thanks! :D That was quite tricky to get some of the pieces to go together - I think if I make another in that style, I'd change the way it's made slightly, just to make it easier to put together laughs :D
Whoa, that sounds like a pretty epic city centre - we're not near the coast (there is a river & a canal, but nobody arrives that way :P), but we do get coaches of tourists arriving most days ;)

I can only imagine. :P I dont think I would have the patience. :P
We got the fjords that leads right into the city centre.. so its pretty nice. ;) Exepensive of course, but nice. ;) I would love to one day see more of England. I have seen my share of BBC programs.. and it looks really scenic!

hehe having said that, I wouldn't have the patience to crochet that many granny squares for a blanket! ;) Anywhere that has loads of tourists tends to be really pricey :K but at least we get the scenery all year round :D
:D I tried it out today as a shopping bag - I was able to fit everything in it, and it was easier to carry than my usual shopping bag (that tends to have handles that are way too long, so the bag trails on the floor as I carry it)

nods it worked a lot better than I thought it could! ;)
I love RP-Raven's outfit- that giant fungus works brilliantly! :D

thats even better :D why thank you :D I had some layering fun cos the tree looked odd on its own lol. I love the bg you have and the kimono works very well with it xD
That is true, they cant take that away from us. ^_^ I would still live in Oslo tho.. if it werent for my familiy all being here.
:pokes and tickles:

it works perfectly :D
The electrician emailed this morning - he's planning on doing the work next Wednesday(!) so I'll be offline for part of the day, as he needs the electric off for that ;)
Thanks :D I got the green thing from the token shop last night, so I had to use it :D

how are we doin? that's fantastic! so fast. Yeah lol I figured. Don't think it'll look too good on Raven though. But does on Paddy xD
I'd never want to live closer to the city than here - we're far enough away for it to be quiet, but still have town within walking distance ;) I'd hate living near London! ;)
nods especially when he originally said 2-3 weeks, and we thought that'd be more likely next month by the time he managed to fit us in ;) Yeah, I doubt that'd go with RP-Raven's skin tone - the forest is a bit vibrant for her ;)
I had a go at sewing a top - haven't put the zip in yet, but it's this one, style E.... it's in a duvet cover :P so it's more a trial run, but I think I might sew it in something with a smidge of stretch, just to make it easier to get on ;)
