Mum realised today that when she did Sid's wash last, she threw out one of his toys by accident.... thankfully we have a spare, but we'll be heading to the pet shop this month to buy him a spare-spare laughs

hehe well it comes in useful to have a spare of his favourites - after he undid the knot in the ball toy (three small balls hanging on a piece of plastic cord).... all the balls fell off the cord, and it wasn't long enough to be able to retie, so we had to go and buy another the next day ;) Sid likes destroying toys o.O

-facepalm- at least you don't need spare spares :P for your toys

Its going okay so far. Frogged some of it today.. as I had a couple of boo-boos.. but nothing that could not be fixed by re-doing it. :D

Phone cases are fun! :D Its nice to have something to protect your phone, they can be quite expensive. o_O

awww that stinks that you had to frog some of it :( But hopefully the redone part is looking better now? :D As long as I can find my measurements I noted down for her phone case, that should work - I need to find a better way of closing it though (I used a hair elastic and button), as the elastic is almost gone through on her old one!

This is how the owl mitten turned out, minus owl eyes and finish up the short thumb! :D I am gonna use a brush to fluff it up inside a bit so that it will be even softer to wear.

whoa, that looks awesome!! :D The owl is perfect! :D Fluffing up the inside sounds like a good plan - let me know how that turns out, as I've got some merino yarn I want to make into mitts, and I'm thinking that might fluff up quite nicely :D

Thankies. :D I will make sure to let you know. ^_^ The yarn I am using is 94% wool and 6% mohair.. so a bit different...

The mohair should fluff up really well :D I have a pair of mitts made from the merino wool already, but it felted quite a bit in the wash (only hand washing them!), so I think I need to make the next pair a bit bigger to compensate for any felting in the wash! ;)
