ta :D lol I think of its as if Raven was a bad drow ;) lol which is saying sometihng cos she totally has her not so nice moments bahahahaha
it certainly works - just the smile and eyes are enough to freak me out, without all the blood! :P

:P
- yesterday's sunset / glow / cloud thing :P

hehe well I was looking south.... so it shouldn't be sunset itself, but I don't think it was the nacreous clouds that apparently might have been visible :P

-nods and pretends to have totally understood that- lol
I don't understand it either :P but apparently the clouds were glowing like the northern lights o.O

its really pretty, but I don't really see northern lights look, or is it just me?
nods same here - there was a red glow, that came out purple on some of my photos, but I think that was just the glow from the sunset ;)
[edit] Wikipedia has some photos of true Nacreous clouds (link)

at least its not just me lol. Its pouring out and I'm starting to get a little light-headed--or at least that was my excuse :P ok, I'll look when I wake. i'm finally tired enoguh I think. I did try at 1am but couldn't shut my head off and was insanely tired then o.0
according to the nerdy weather people I asked,
At least it's pouring out, and not pouring in :P ;) Hopefully it won't rain so hard it keeps you awake though ;)

That is good. :D Hope you got to test your new sewing machine as well!
Yup! No one can expect you to call Rowling and ask. :P As much fun as that would be. lol

except that the weather is making my head pound :/ and my wrist and back are chimming in to lol i'm convinced my body hates me. I dont think i know any weather geeks lol. but that's cool to know. not yet but hopefully soon
:pats: Looks like we picked a bad team for this event. A NPC had to make a board for the BBFs- since no one else had. lol

hehe even she forgot a bit about one character - apparently she had to go and buy one of the earlier books to remind herself, so she could carry on writing in the cafe ;)
awww that stinks :( Well, it's the ones that run the Metcheck weather forecast site - they said you can send them photos of clouds & weather stuff on facebook, so I thought I'd ask if that was those particular clouds ;)
Whoo!! I'd forgotten all about that skin! 😊 ;)

That must have been odd, going to the store to buy your own work. o_o
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/modern-romantic-cushion-cover
I am so confused here, on that page is says 10 ply yarn.. but when you go to the link in her blog it says 4 ply? o_O

laughs especially if they recognised her! ;)
Looking at the comments on the blog,
.... that seems odd to me, to use 4-ply harn with a 6mm hook - you'd be left with really loose stitches....
I had a look at the yarn suggestions on ravelry, and they all used Aran-weight (10-ply) yarn, or DK yarn :)

Would be too funny. :) It must be hard to keep a plot going for so many books, with so many characters and details to keep in mind.
Then why put 4 ply in the pattern on the blog. :scratches head: Oh well. :)
Thanks for looking. :D 10 ply yarn should work nicely then, if that is what other people have used. :D Its such a pretty pattern, I want to make a couple of these!

hehe I guess that's the disadvantage of working in a notebook in a cafe - you can't really lug all your notes around in the same way as writing at home ;)
nods it doesn't make much sense - especially when they answered that question, and still confused things by claiming it's just one strand of 4-ply o.O
Maybe do the gauge swatch square and just check that 10-ply works ok, to save getting half way through and realising it's not the right size? ;)
