OK... so I couldn't really get online yesterday. Mom was up for over 30 hours straight! Anyways, I had a CW slot notice around 10:30 am yesterday and when I clicked on it this evening there was nothing there. If it was any Lair Bear shop please let me know. I'm not even sure what the item was?

Hi Bears. I hope you all had a pleasant and memorable Veterans Day and Remembrance Day with your families.

Just got home from a day of getting into my uniform and laying a wreath...and we had 2 parades i was in yesterday in 2 different towns...tonight we had a banquet with roast beef and mashed with peas and carrots and slaw with buns and loads of desserts.

Sounds like you had a good time. I stayed home, and hubby and I cooked together. Then in the evening, i was on asst chef duty with my younger son. He says, i chopped veggies faster than him. His a good cook.

That sounds like fun too.I would do that...i sat by the door tonight and collected money for drink tickets so i got to meet a ton of people that are all in the Legion here.It was fun watching kids running around the place,even played hide and seek with one of the kids....maybe 4 years old??

I am glad when hubby or son want to cook, I dont mind being on clean up. My 3 sons all know how to cook. So nice to meet new people and play peek a boo with little kids. My hubby if you can find him, his making friends with little kids. He wants grand babies so bad.

I like cooking,never did like cleaning up...but on the other hand i'm not a messy person either so cleaning up after me would be easy.

My younger son messes up the kitchen all over, so him being a great cook makes up for it. I clean as i good, I dont want to finish cooking and then have to do a major clean up. I dont mind cooking, I just get tired of it after 30 some odd years of 3 meals a day.

I see your point...i'm glad to cook for more than one and i clean as i go too.Just have to get paper plates then so i don't have to wash LOL Keeps crashing here so i will say good night...:)

I rinse and put dishes in dishwasher as I go, but swear sometimes someone is sneaking their dishes in my sink that dont live here. LOL

I still wash by hand here so maybe that's why i hate cleanup sooo much...i need a dishwasher...i've been alone tooo long too.. I'm off to bed see you tomorrow :) good night...sleep well....
