Two announcements: First, because of a job interview will Chapter 9 be posted later on 20th of March. This doesn't change anything about the deadlines. It's just for all of you folks who couldn't wait for the next location. Also I'm afraid I won't get the analysis of the avatar contest (Interim Report Chapter 7) in time. It might take until the weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Chapter 7 – Interim Report
I'm surprised so many of you choosed to "blend in" with your costume instead of just switching size/gender and adding a drinking cup. (; Sadly some dressed too formal. Remember it was supposed to be a north feast and not Masquerade on Subeta. But I really like the crazy bunch of stand-in giants!

How big is the field/area that the sheep occupy? I'm finding it funny that he tries to count his sheep and falls asleep. ^.^
Also, I ran into Lleu Llaw Gyffes in the book I just finished reading, though it was only passing mention.

<p>You take a look left and you take a look right: No fencing in sight. The landscape only consists of soft hills, more a lift, and fields with dandelion. The colossal sheepherder doesn’t like manmade boundaries. He says that fear is a human characteristic and he thinks that trust means setting something free and let it return by its own will. None of his sheep has ever gone missing. So he has a point here.
<p>From what you can see the region Custenhins herd is occupying is three pitches in width and thickness. Maybe more. It’s tough to name a dimension with all this white moving balls of wool around. It makes your head dizzy just looking at them and you can feel the need to rest your eyes. Just one moment… Wait! You feel DÃses touch at your elbow and bat your eyelids. She tells you that nobody ever saw the whole picture. The sheep graze widely, not only circular. Possible that there are some of them you cannot spot from where you stand. You need to get a better perspective to completely answer this question.

Since you don’t have any control points, besides the distant entrance of the ravine where you captured Heimdallrs horse and the horizon, it’s nearly impossible to guess right. There are browsing sheep everywhere. And with everywhere I mean: Everywhere. They stand in large and small groups, alone --- you even see a couple doing gymnastics/climbing over Custenhins mastiff on their endless search for fresh grass. Maybe it’s true that his herd is infinite? It seems they have run over the country.
