I'm not really sure what i'm not taking into account.
You do the same math and see if it the opponent maxes out the theoretical max blocking of a weapon. If the opponent isn't Maxing out less than 70% of your 100 icon mono blocker, a 70 icon dual blocker would potentially give you better results.
But In most cases that also comes at the expensive of damage as well.

There is too much math going on in this thread . >.>
If you wait long enough they will change it again never fear.
heh forgot your dr.
. . . Someone told me I have two faults. I don't listen and . . . some other stuff they were rattling on about.
Woosh. These posts are flying over my head.

LOL Gotta love when tomes are under 2.5mil a pop and I'm flat broke. XD But they won't last... I give it another week before they're back up to being over 3mil.

Thracian gained: 2 level(s) 1 strength 1 defence 1 intelligence 1 health points 3 speed points
Now that's a tome. /thumbs up
As far as new stat builds are concerned, I haven't even thought about Thracian's. I'm just tossing tomes at him for now. He's also got about 1.4 mil exp I don't know how to spend. All we've got left to fight now is Meaty V3, Mutant Scientist, Baen, and the two Paramnesias. And I just know any one of them is gonna wreck my no-loss streak.
what i meant and should've said is that your threshhold numbers only take into consideration single icon type blocking for overblocking, which means that with that much defense you're likely to overblock and that the stats would be better invested elsewhere. But if you instead used a dual icon blocker you are making full use of one of the icon types or potentially both, the math of it i know you know of course. it's just very situational and not so black and white.
I can say for sure from my own pet and from observation of others that having extreme builds can quite literally change the standard order of difficulty for opponents, sometimes even rather drastically.
That tome is just messing with you Archer.
And Andrew that's just... odd. I only got one today. Perhaps you did something kind in a past life and the subeta gods looked favourably on it? ;p
I'd love if amulets came from actually battling. That makes a lot of sense to me. Mind you, I can still train the traditional way for a long time yet so I shouldn't complain haha

Haha, that's to be expected obviously. Some opponents do different things better than others, or require different strategies. Still makes for interesting reading, discussing different builds.
Buying = Nothing atm
Selling = Nothing atm
Found an amulet on the ground while scratching a scratchcard... won nothing on the card and got a shard from the Mage. xD ha-ha oh well.

Makes sense.
I guess I haven't looked at any of the stat based weapons, but looking at the subeta lodge numbers for the 35/35 split iconers, you get a pretty decent drop on the number offensive icons and mod slots, are any of them really worth using over the 2 most appropriate god weapons? I'm sure they make decent stand ins if you don't have the optimal god weapons, but I guess I got the impression that they would not likely outshine the god weapons.

Just fought Fish Breath and he dropped six amulets and one tome. Took amulets to Mage. Got one tome. Let's see what's happen...
Kuuipo gained: 2 level(s) 1 strength 2 defence 1 intelligence 2 health points 1 speed point
Kuuipo gained: 2 level(s) 2 strength 2 defence 1 intelligence 3 health points 1 speed points

They're comparable considering opponent blocks and whatnot. tempest bladed gauntlet has same range as SoSS, and skelly staff has 12% heal and 50/50 icon block in defensive mode which is pretty beastly defense, and only a few attack icons short of ostaff, with the same amount of mod slots. Not sure if the 12% heals 999 or 1199 with new cap though.
With ten or above percent heal, the Skelly Staff heals 999hp max. That's roughly 10 percent of 9999hp. On the other hand, if a weapon heals 5 percent, then it's max heal is 500hp. It doesn't go beyond that.
I believe some others have suggested to make 999hp the heal cap of all weapons, because the demigodlies usually heal a few percent lower than ten.
^should be pointed out that if your health is <10k, you can heal over 1k HP.
