Wait, is the 1K healing cap, per weapon or is it an overall healing cap?

Like if I have 10,001 HP and I use 2 gods and a god scroll, do I heal for 1000, 1900, or 2900?

If it is not the 2900, how much does a 9999HP pet heal for?

the cap ONLY kicks in if your health is over 10k, which in itself a weird statement since you cant reach the heal cap unless you surpass 9999 HP. with 1 exception.

it is PER weapon, the cap is heal% * 10,000 (for some reason it's 999hp for 10% heal or more weapons) EG, a 9% heal weapon caps at 900hp, NOT 999hp (at least last time i checked)

• scrolls are excluded from this "heal cap"

However, the exception is if the weapon heals >10% heal.

Then, if you have more than 10k HP, heal caps at 999. if you are below 10k HP, you heal up to the % of HP. Thus in these cases, a <10k HP pet outheals a 10k+ HP pet.

Theoretically, the max heal for a 10k HP pet is 999hp + 999hp + 10% of HP (or 1500HP from gift of forj). Max heal for 9999 or 9998 (idk what the cut off is) 12% (tainted skull staff) + 20% (bluud wand) + 10% (or 1500HP from gift of forj)

Actually, turkey quill's max heal is higher than that of bluud wand, with it capping out at 27%.

So does the heal cap affect all percentage healing weapons or some? I know the previous cap mostly affected tier 10+ weapons and tier 9 weapons that took up the healer slot.

Actually, yeah, i think it matches the previous heal capped weapons + bluud wand (it is the only new one i noticed, though there might be more), since im sure they just updated the coding values as opposed to recoding it.

Oddly enough, the Ice King gloves, P-staff (probably a few more) had heal caps that stayed the same. Perhaps ranging % healers have weird coding that values were hardcoded so the values didnt scale up. idk

There are actually a lot of weapons that didn't have a cap before, such as RIWoD, purple spider squeaky toy, large gutting knife, and malignant rift staff. I kind of wonder why P-Staff didn't have a healing increase. Oversight or something?

No it would have to be undefendable and guaranteed once he hits the threshold. I guess then it would have to be a curse that activates under 500 hp or w/e. There's no luck component. If you wind up in that situation, no matter how good the battle went, you just say oh shit and its a tie.

Yay! not I've got at least 14 levels in o-quests in the past few days. At least I'm in a window of 500 levels before training times go up again. Of course when his training time does go up, I will get 1 training per day instead of 1 training per day!

Hey All! I've just come back from a almost year long hiatus, so I was wondering if the Malignant Rift Staff was still worth buying for battle? I need to spend my masquerade 2013 points so that I don't forget and waste them :P

Well that's not surprising I guess. I hope it's like that because there's no other way to do it and not just "because". It sorta makes me glad there's no custom coding for scrolls lol.

I use mine for my tier 9 right now and since it gets a permanent heal at tier 11 it's a decent weapon if you need it. The blessing and curse are nice for extra damage, I should use mine more often lol.
