- Yeah, it's really the light/dark block that I care about, I currently have nothing to block light, and sanct would be nice for that, but yeah, I make do with cobalts. I actually recently took all my cobalts off my main and stuck them on my secondary though. Unless you get 75s across the board (which I never do), they aren't even that useful for the impossible opponents. My secondary will make better use of them I think.

Kinda flopped on the New Year Tokens from quentin, and no amulets, but I got 3 tique items. Didn't know he gave tique on weekend quests!

Dark Goddess Rod will block light, but then you're back to that sticky price situation. Although it's still much more reasonable than a trident or most other higher tier weapons.

IEH blocks 75 light, but the OPB aspect bites. Otherwise, core or LGK are your other light-block options. x.x

I've been stuck with Cobalts too! Sanct's are too expensive for me to bother making.

I don't even have words for how happy this would make me ;___; when Eigh hit t12, I fully intended to start splitting bqs.... then I realized that the amount of time it takes me switch out scrolls is going to crush my enthusiasm for battling with my other pets every time. so now they just sit there and collect dust while I dream of a scroll library. :P

I'm also very much in agreement about the amount of bobbles/tridents out there - we've had such a fantastic influx of new battlers over the last year+, and I think that playing catch-up with stats is enough of a mission, never mind not being able to get their hands on some of the older staples like the trident, old spell ingredients, etc.

- Yeah. I'm kind of on the fence about buying new weapons right now, I mean, the DGR you get when you cap your pet's stats, which I'm hoping I can do this year. Manifesting Weapon again, I'm hoping that I'll be able to earn one next morostide. I know I'll be able to get the Gelatin concoction this year (assuming we still have a gelatin war), and depending on availability during gelatin war, might be able to earn the core as well. So I mean, I guess I could try to buy a Pbow, but I dunno if it's really worth the investment.

Actually, I would think Hydra core is more expensive than DGR, despite being worse.

The core is worse than DGR? I can understand cause the DGR does have a heal, but the core gets better once you make an ME out of it.

Well I got 1 planner down... 5 to go... and then I have so many more books to collect x__x some quests give you many tokens others only hand out 2... Maleria being a big grinch and only gave me 2 today. Oh well, I'm cutting down the list of books I need, one at a time.

I look at my WL -- even at just the cost of the "staples" -- and I want to cry. Do you ever notice how when you ask for weapon advice there are few options and all are well over 100 mil? You need dozens of these multi-million sP weapons to even do daily BQs -- let alone special challengers and events. Some are "getable" through achievements, the MC, et cetera, but they seem to be the minority.

No wonder I'm having trouble making my NY resolution list. There's just not enough sP to do it all. I suppose I could resort to a life of crime… Wait -- no I can't. I don't have the weapons.

ME has a low chance of blocking 100 light (which comes alongside its guaranteed 100 dark block in the rare attack), so I decided not to compare ME to DGR.

The core is a guaranteed 75 light block. The Hydragellos tooth is a 10 or 60 light block though.

Eh, low chance beats 0 chance in my world. But yeah, strange, ME blocks dark instead of continuing to block light when it's just a core. Never understood that.

- Yeah, it's rough. I'm ok cus I've been gathering weapons for a while. Even some of the cheaper weapons, like Prodigy staff, are still gonna run you about 50 mill.

I don't ever switch scrolls haha, not because it really takes that long to un-equip and re-equip one or two, but because it messes up the order of them on my main battler. And as a consequence, most of my littles don't ever have to struggle for wins, I just wait until they can easily beat opponents so I don't have to switch stuff around. But that's no fun :P

Although I think I have a DD scroll floating around on one of them, it's always a nice surprise when I start a battle with whichever little guy it's on.

The fact that you or I can use "50 mil" and "cheaper weapons" in the same sentence speaks volumes. LOL

@ solstice glad I'm not the only one who's super picky about scroll order 8D I get massives sads any time I have to take a scroll of my main pet, because that usually means unequipping all 945746 of them so I can re-order them properly when I put it back. :P
