Hey'all, I've been gone for a few so instead of assuming, I'll ask - the opponent reset - is that equal to our pets being uncapped? Or is that wishful thinking on my part?

@ Laurie Stat cap IS being raised, we just have not heard much else. Most likely we'll find out when the reset happens, for now all we can do is wait.

Tempestuous Spirit got her 10th win against the ice king, I could have sworn I had my top 3 archans maxed against him already. Guess thats why he's been so persistent about picking a fight with one of them today.

raises my hand I am Mike. Either way I'll decide what way I want to go with the Ladys stats before she battles or I do any boosting. Looking back, its obvious to me that my even across the board (HP not included) was a foolish waste of stats. I should have leaned heavier on str and HP and forgot that speed existed.

-- Gonna enjoy the reset, I've already planned out how I am going to approach it. One day per battle pet, go through the entire list of challengers and try and max out everyone I can. Tomes, Amulets, EXP, Eggs, Loot will all be looked at /after/ the battles are done. Junk will be fragged, amulets turned in and tomes will be used on the pets that win them, that way all my pets will gain from this. By the time I'm done (seeing all that EXP in one place is gonna make me weep) I will then work on spending it all. Hope to make it below 3k towards 22k total stats for my main battler. Well, looks like I am going to have the opportunity to fit a few more battles in before the reset. I have a list of the wins I'd like to get but I am gonna be very surprised if I actually manage to get 5 wins against certain opponents with certain pets.

I haven't got a plan for after the opponent reset/cap raise... When I get tired of battling today I might work on that... Or I might just wait and see what changes it brings. -shrugs-

Anybody have any tips/tricks to beat Meatslab, the Furious? I need 2 more wins to get to 5 and I cannot for the life of me beat him anymore. I've been using Maniacal Essence, Unstable Sample Syringe (which I'm noticing is now somewhat under powered at his stats), TA Scroll / Void Scroll. I haven't had much luck blasting 2 weapons. Keep in mind I haven't actively battled in a very long time. Since there's a reset, should I bother continuing or just wait for the reset and get 2 easier wins.

Current stats are

Strength: 6,101 Defense: 4,200 Speed: 4,200 Health: 7,500 HP: 7,500/7,500

I feel I went overboard on speed/defense, any one have suggestions on how I should continue/correct building my pet once the cap is raised? Should I go for more HP even though its capped?

The Chronus Blade would help because it blocks 100 magma and boosts 25 str/def/speed each use, allowing you to possibly match or outspeed Meatslab while progressively hitting harder.

More HP is always good. The impossible challengers tend to chain freeze a lot, and additional HP can buffer against an unlucky freeze which might KO otherwise.

Friday May 8th is when the reset is happening. Midnight reset would be awesome but I do hope they have a little more to tell us in regards.

Your pet seems pretty decent to get 5 wins. Cronus Blade + Possessed Bow are what I used to get my 5 wins. Plus a ton of dark water/dark light potions. Also you'll want to bring 2 blasters, try and get rid of his Glowing Bluud Wands or at least one and a Mighty Flex (as it does a crap ton of Physical damage)! Also using Cobalt scrolls helps specially near the end when he's down in the blue. A little added defense helps a lot when going for your last few wins. Best wishes.

shoot, i'd had myself convinced it was the 7th for whatever reason. really looking forward to some new fights, haha

i just feel its gonna be anticlimactic. but at least, things are finally happening.

Well at least now it's only one more day. Tomorrow. Just hope that the site doesn't explode because of all the battlers rushing in to get their fight on.
